I was a big fan when he started touring again I was becoming an alcoholic. Apparently he did too. He's up here announcing he's retiring lying about dementia and he knows it's because of alcohol addiction. The last thing in the world this guy needed was enablers. Everyone in here making excuses for him is an enabler. He's touring the country with a manager & a band. You can't enable him to get drunk and perform. Stop the tour or enable him to kill himself and Destroy his reputation. I was able to quit drinking 10 years ago at 50. I did it by myself with no help and it was extremely difficult and it took over 2 years. The hangovers were so bad you're not capable of functioning & 10 years later I still think about it every single day. The only thing its good for is making you stupider with every drink. It's absolutely worthless and highly addictive. Very talented guy, so sorry brother

I have never seen a 5th Dimension video SO CLEAR and it was great! Most all look so grainy they look like Thomas Edison shot them in 1900.

I couldn't hardly listen to him in his McCoys days. It hurt too much to see him give up his heart. He was the best, but he gave in to the monkey. I have seen him live many many times. I was so glad when he went back to his blues. That's where he belonged. I still cry when I think about him. It may sound corny but, I worry that I will drown in my own tears.

Buddy Holly was steering music in the right direction. The path would have been completely different if not for the plane crash.

Great RnR voice I always thought, could've been a lot bigger to. Did he have his vision corrected later on with available technology? Does anyone know, because I believe he legally blind during the early Steppenwolf days.

5:58- Yeah, Alan King......the "perfect" guest host for a teen music show [December 27, 1965]. Producer Gary Smith featured him because he was under contract to appear on several NBC programs. Yes, about as digestible as pot roast served with peanut brittle. 😑

I just noticed that Dave Matthews' singing voice sounds very similar to John Mayer to me. Both of them are not my cup of tea, so maybe it's just a singing style I don't appreciate. Whereas Jerry Garcia's voice is probably not technically great but I absolutely love it; he's one of my favorite vocalists.

She was dumb about politics She was and still very liberal person of what she hang around most people in the business every one says she had a mind of her own she wanted kids not like stevie nicks but she said she couldn't find the right man she's likely that when she went to LA. In 1965 her brother Peter who was police chief in Tucson and what gets me nobody talks about her mom but her mom had a lot influence on Linda's life.
