@@scootersnooter Thank you so much! I hope you check out part 2 of the video as well to see how the rest of the game would’ve played out! There’s a lot of things I’m really proud of in the second half that I’ve finally gotten the chance to show off. I’m actually thinking of releasing a version 0.9 that includes Gideon and the first half of the sixth level which was shown off here, plus access to the game’s debug room, so Bill, Ford, and each character’s ultimate weapons are also accessible for people to play around with if they want. I know it’s not much and I wish more of the game was completed in a playable state, but from the sound of comments like yours I’m getting the impression it’s something some people would have fun with regardless. :D Thanks again for your incredibly kind words, and playing and enjoying PinesQuest 2D! @@NovaStarlyght I just watched part 2 and man the dedication is insane, even if it never got finished the effort that was put into this project is genuinely impressive. You should definitely feel proud of yourself dude, I wish I had the motivation to work on the same project like this!! Also another update adding in what you completed of level 6, the debug room, ect, sounds amazing!! I would definitely be down for that if you ever decide to do it ^^

Kinda makes sense since Asher and his tribe are ancient people who once worship Nerva and become immortal monsters, so without Nerva Asher probably already dead long time ago before Elena born.

It’s left somewhat up to interpretation, but personally I don’t think so. I see the Mysterious Being as the embodiment of the concept of God or Creation itself, since he calls himself Odin, but also Zeus, Hades, Shiva, etc, all gods of different mythologies. When he describes the universe as being like a video, it’s just a metaphor to explain how he can observe everything that happens but can’t influence what’s already been set into motion. That’s my take, anyhow.

hmm i'm not so sure. fate's trigger had bunch of stupid and annoying characters. so for me that was the worst arc.

​@@piotyrwysocki​​​What makes Fate Trigger so good is that not only the antagonist wins, but it also shows the tragic fate of the characters we followed suffered. Most of the characters are annoying since they couldn't overcome thier flaws and died as a result. The only good thing about Laincrest is Verdilia and even she couldn't save on how horrible the arc is. 1. Castelle felt rushed as a final antagonist and never suffered the consequences of her actions, same goes for Lillium. 2. Cornelius just disappeared for some reason, same goes for Wiess. 3. Alicia is totally forgotten. 4. And as much as I like Lyleth and Amaryllis, both characters are underwhelming compared to Vellsar or Empyrean Inn's cast Fate's Trigger may not have the perfect writing. But Lessons from Laincrest has more writing problems. Eventhough I disagree I can understand and respect your opinion.​

@@NovaStarlyght oh my bad this is my first video and I only saw the first min of the video I was at work so put my phone up 😆. I also live in Raleigh but I rarely go to Game Theory because it's pretty far for me. I know they had open a second location in downtown for awhile but I don't think it's open anymore.
