Hi! I just picked up my Trail Boss 1090K this week. So far loving the camper. Let me know what mods you are doing beyond removing microwave. I am trying to figure out how to utilize the storage area inside....Love the amenities it has.. I just for the life of me can't figure out how to change the C to F on the solar controller LOL..

@13outdoors47 Also mine is slightly different. my gas quick connect is on passenger side and my stove is entirely different. Mine is a 2024..

I painted my fenders with truck bed liner to give them a bit more durability. I also used a large tote in the bed area to keep extra camping needs. It fits perfectly under the bed. Put up a cargo net where the microwave was , so stuff doesn't fall put while moving.
@spinaker2121Ай бұрын
@@13outdoors47 could you add some video on how and what you did to the fenders. I was thinking the same thing... I love this thing...

I am hoping to buy one next week. They look like a lot of bang for the buck.. Seems like it's a sweet little trailer. Anything I should be aware of when i go an purchase?
@13outdoors472 ай бұрын
They are Military friendly, so you can definitely get some discounts for that. The trailer was around $12k.... that's for the fiberglass, a thousand less for aluminum. As far as towing goes; I barely felt it on the way home and it was pretty windy that afternoon. I haven't taken it out yet, but will this upcoming weekend.
@spinaker21212 ай бұрын
@@13outdoors47 awesome. I am in New England so will be visiting a different dealer. The camper itself looks really nice. Let me know what accessories you get. There is not a lot of info or videos out there of these and what people do to them.Good luck this weekend.

@spinaker2121 I had an Overland setup with the rooftop tent before. This is a lot more convenient. The heater works great. It's still been pretty cold the last week in S. Illinois. I did remove the microwave because I'll never use it and am using that space for more storage. The bed is pretty comfortable also. Slept a solid 4 1/2 hours after work today. I got the tow package with the swaybar and an electronic device plug that I can control with an app on my phone . It was listed at $700 at my dealer but got a few discounts that made it $0. Still trying to learn a couple things, but definitely satisfied overall so far. Also bought a 17" Blackstone for camping.

Hit all the right talking points. Everything is made over there, so it makes sense to buy direct. Cheaper so if you lose something, your losing a dollar. You want to try something but you don't want to try it at a high price.

You really should wait and buy Ryobi days. Buy a battery kit get a free tool. I have the brushed brad nailer, it works great although I suggest you use at least a 4ah battery, the 2ah will stall the nailer. Upgrade to a 7 1/4" circular saw.

I don't believe they generalize the contents for each number. I bought box #90 after seeing your video as well as one other. I normally stay away from these but they were on sale for $15 and I had been eyeing the Headbanger lures for a while. But when I opened mine, to my surprise it was a Lucky Craft crankbait instead (not a fan). They are cheaply made and their color schemes generic for their cost. I paint lures myself, and generally repaint those I am given. When these boxes first started I had a few good ones and then they started with "sample" packs, and would list them as a $5.99 retail for 2 hooks. As well as the soft plastics would be 4 or 5 worms. I have learned to just either buy what I want or buy something I wouldn't normally every now and then to experiment
@13outdoors473 жыл бұрын
I've tried to watch some of the unboxing videos and see what number box they have. I've actually gotten some good stuff too. I usually get mine at Wally-World, they are right at $18. The Googan boxes are nice because you know exactly what you're getting beside the colors

I bought the a Rhino Blind. The set-up was horrible and the take-down was almost is bad. When I got it home, I brought down to my basement to set it up for drying, and two of the skeletal legs fell apart. When people say Rhino Blinds are easy for one person to up, its absolutely false! I will not buy another Rhino product again. Rhino Blinds SUCK!!!!
