@@cookedunit86 its an open practice bud, you accept the conditions when you show up for that. i get where youre coming from 100%, but weve all been there. gotta start and learn somehow. just got to read the track conditions and accept it. I'm a C class rider all day long, not fast by any means.

Adjust the preload of the suspension make it more stiff and you’ll have a better ride

Harley Davidson service department do not know how to work on bikes, had the same issues with suspension told them an it would come back even worse, also they adjusted my clutch wrong told me it was gone after only 800 miles, it wasn’t until I worked on my own bike that I realized the scam they run at the service department

I'm not big on performance mods, I can't sit on loud, ride behind loud all day long I'm old, won't be going out to pick up girls, wife rides on WideGlide I certainly did the LED signals, not the headlight yet......The rubber fork covers removed and turn signals moved to forks Since I don't have a backseat I put kuryakyn luggage rack on and a kemi bag.......for the riding I do with iron the kemi bag will never be filled unless its water bottles

Everybody gets saddlemen stepup seat then blames shocks for bad ride........get a good seat, saddlemen explorerRS if you want saddlemen, hd sundowner(unless part number same as part number for 2013 1200c, they made a bad one, try it before you buy it) Corbin, Mustang, LePera, just about any with some width and edge of the seat support

Yeah I'm very aware of that, had to wedge the cam in a rock. Didn't really put much thought into the setup just hit record and threw the shoes on. Fair take though.

I had a super low for ages then had to get sell due to financial issues at the time then later on I got the last Iron 883 and I still have it. I have a love hate relationship with it but it’s an amazing little thing and I will definitely keep it long term I need to get a sissy bar and back rest thing at some point

My 2021 Iron 1200 has over 11000 miles and runs like a boss still. That rubber mounted Evo runs better with age...

Putting upgrades on a Harley Davidson 1200 is like putting lipstick on a pig. You still have a pig. Forget the upgrades Instead by the new Sportster the Nightster built with the latest technology

I started on an iron 883 and moved up to a ‘21 Low Rider S last February. Now I’m looking at a second bike and thinking strongly about another sporty. It will definitely be a 1200 this time and the iron 1200 is my favorite styling. Just don’t like the amf graphics but there you go. Like you said, a change in suspension, a quality stage 1, and those bikes are a lot of fun! I would actually like to do a scrambler type build but those bikes look so classic in stock form that I wouldn’t want to change it too drastically. Enjoy!
