I had 6 kiddos. I have a trick to add to the beautiful design shown here . I would pull one couch out a bit more from the corner and store the baby's toys on a few shelves behind the couch in a small corner. Or no shelves just boxes. Sometimes my kids enjoyed playing back in that as their own cozy corner.When they played with a couple things on the ottoman it wss great. If we needed to clean up fast it was fun and fast.

AWESOME reveal! Especially liked the carpet - had to rewind several times to capture the print and various colors - blue & gold. Caught a glimpse of the heel on those boots you are rocking - they are sharp!

Not my favorite. It seems too crowded and unbalanced. I’d bring those two armchairs in only when th need seating for 9. Most of the time it’s just 3

1:16 is perfect for a night/space theme. The chandelier and the recessed lights even look like the Moon and some stars, respectively.

Sharing pitfalls - not seeing big enough samples before deciding, not choosing where you can make dollar compromises (I chose less costly backsplash and flooring).

I don’t understand where the idea of “on a dime” comes in. I had a frameless shower enclosure installed and it was 5 grand alone. All the tile, lighting etc in this vid must have cost a buckets and buckets of money.

I would also suggest getting a toaster oven if you do not have one. A 2 burner hot plate. There's some really good ones out there now days. It cuts down on that out. Do a little meal prep on the weekend for week a head. You will thank yourself. Don't forget to a dish drainer because you will be washing pots and pans at least. Just a thought 🤔

Great to see a video from you. I still refer back to your curtain video every now and then. Speaking of curtains, ☺️ I did the trick in my living room and the room does look bigger. One thing, I didn't lift the curtain on the sliding door cause it will show on the bottom. For years, I have a curtain that's lower than the rest. No one can tell, but me. Any advice? Thank you

Hello, thank you for this video. I got the curtain rod measurement down, but am very confused on the curtains itself. My bedroom two paneled windows are a total of 87 inches. If I give my self an additional 12 it comes to 99 inches. The curtain panels I'm looking at only come in 50 inches wide, does this mean I should order 4 curtains or two curtains for each window panel, and will it look ok?
@SmartInteriorsTopDesigner
@SmartInteriorsTopDesigner Жыл бұрын
Hi Megs - thanks for watching. If your window is a total of 87 inches wide you want to add an additional 12 inches to EACH side. The total width of the rod would be 111 inches. If you want the panels to close you will need a total of 4 50" wide panels. I would sew the panels together.
