This is a modifier you can buy in the DLC, not the blood and wine but the other one, forgot the name, there is a trader that sells modifiers to swords that are Hella expensive, he is in the newly unlocked part of the map in the DLC

I'm on RTX 3080 10GB edition, not sure about the FPS but it's mostly smooth. I may publish my detailed setup with benchmarks some day because I enabled a lot of non default options in CSP that make the game look much better than the default CSP settings.

You will need to download Settlers United mod. Settlers United works with any edition of the settlers 3 and history edition of the settlers 4 (you can get it from Ubisoft for cheap). I'm running this on windows 11 pro, 64gb ddr 4 ram, rtx 3080, i7 13700kf (yes, it's a massive overkill 😂). Currently I'm having some problems joining online but it works for 99% of people.

@@just.play1ng so yesterday i bought the game and played it. I did not try the HD patch, just the standard "history edition". I really enjoyed playing but I noticed the AI was useless so when I was at their base they were defenseless :(

No, you don't need it but I recommend downloading ppfilters pureLIFE which has a LCS optimised filter

Windows 11

I try to play it on my pc which has windows 11 but it keep saying graphics inference error? any ideas on how I can fix it?

No, I haven't done it. I'm not really feeling any FPS loss and I want to stay ignorant if there is any lol otherwise I'll be obsessing over a few FPS instead of enjoying the game.

There isn't much to change, and you can always save your current settings as a preset is CSP

I couldn't ever get pure with any of the filters to look as good as some KZbinrs get it looking. Lcs on the other hand with a lut from reshade looks soo much better atleast on my monitors. It's night and day. The colors aren't so washed. I can get pure lookjng pretty similar to my lcs but then again I'd use reshade over pure filters just cuz they all look like crap on my monitors unless I heavily adjust pure settings before every race

What problems do you get with ExtraFX?

Since the new updated CSP0.2.3p211 with the new rough integration of LCS into the latest Pure 2.70 (2.7.1), none of the extra fx effects have been in a running state (with or without LCS on or off), with the only exception being Extra space-screen lighting with or without it's addition of light bounce estimation. When enabled (other effects in extra fx) the screen when loaded into a game goes dark, but the game itself is still being rendered (I know this because I run RTGI 0.36.1 by Pascal Gilcher/Marty McFly, which shows the depth buffer), then other oddities of extra fx in this state is that, rain is seeable for some reason. Another error which is caused by this new version of CSP. is that in huge maps such as SRP (PTB 0.9.3), after maybe like five seconds the game just freezes. Tough this my not be true for other maps of similar proportion.

I think we need a dedicated filter for LCS, maybe I'll read about it a bit and create one. I need one for Quest 3 in particular. Are you in VR or monitors? HDR or SDR? What's your max luminance? Also, I made a new comparison video, released it about an hour ago.

You have to select the default weather system (as opposed to pure or sol), then linear colour space should show up. The official patreon page has a more detailed tutorial

Neither am I. But keep in mind that LCS will bring about a new shader system that should bring "more accurate colors" to paraphrase what llja said.

I get a similar impression, there is also a blue tint (look at the shadows in the trees in the distance)

Thanks for the comment, I will probably upload a new version later today, will test without the filter on the new colour space. Also, on the side note: I exported my video in HDR BT 2020 color space but still not seeing HDR option on KZbin. I used Adobe Premiere and enabled the metadata embedding during the export, what are your settings or do I just have to wait more for KZbin to enable HDR on this video? When I'm streaming from OBS in HDR PQ the HDR is enabled during stream.

@@just.play1ng yeah HDR processing can take hours to days I've noticed lately, got same issue with my LCS comparison ATM. Important to ensure your export has HDR format set to HDR10 preferably, use 2020 or 2100 coloue space and transfer characteristics are PQ (or maybe HLG) but I use PQ.

Thanks, when I did my first I exported it like 4 times with different settings, including uncompressed mxf and the video was 245gb in size 😂 I guess I have to wait and see... Making a new video as I type this too

One more question: in the new CSP do you completely disable post processing or do you use the default filter? When I disable post processing and try Nordshleife at night everything, including the menu is dark AF even with the lights on, when I enable the default filter everything is a bit too bright (that is in VR, on the monitor it looks ok). I get no issues when using pure.

@@just.play1ng For LCS using the default WeatherFX and turning on enable LCS? Then yes still use post processing, but only default or natural filter or a ppf written for LCS like PureLIFE-LCS Beta.

watched a few more seconds, what is this rain, you literally can't see anything like a whiteout blizzard. how are we supposed to enjoy seeing nothing but 2014 interior graphics and poor digital rain distortion....

You gotta try this in VR, it's a completely different story when you have 3D spacial awareness.

I'm still new to CSP and Pure. I was under the impression that PURE HDR is filter is just HDR implementation, and I wasn't aware that it relies on pure mod to work properly. When using natural or other filters I get some weird colours especially in the stream. I'm still experimenting with all these mods and will probably release updated video soon when I do some more testing. Currently I'm back to PURE mod for now, it looks good in VR and on KZbin stream in HDR it looks like a real footage from race.

@@_PHIZM_ I mean when I'm streaming on KZbin while I'm playing the game it looks better, but I think that's subjective. I noticed the LCS has a bit of a blue tint to it.
