@@sarsvfx I ain't blaming anyone or saying that Steph is undeserving but what folk are not going to do is skip Kobe like he wasn't second to MJ. If MJ the goat and Kobe is the next one he has to be in the convo regardless of play style or position. Nobody in NBA history is as skilled as Kobe and many aren't as accomplished. I'm just saying if you are going to attempt to put him in that convo there is no way you aren't talking about Kobe too.

Steph has only Durant and for only three seasons, whereas lebron has wade, melo, Westbrook, and AD, plus several all stars/all NBA in Kevin love, kyrie, deron, bosh, Allen, korver, Marion, Jefferson, ilgauskas, rashard, battier, miller..in contrast..Steph has only dray, Klay, Iggy, lee, west, wiggs as all stars, most of them were one time all stars like lee, wiggs, and Iggy..

Plus the ppl that were drafted by gsw and came up together shouldn't be a knock on steph. Furthermore Wiggins getting his first allstar after playing with steph speaks volumes just like players coming to gsw getting their first chip, Durant, wigs, iggy, Livingston

I agree with your assessment, but I want to give you a cautious sign. The Lakers have been on Cruise Control and they have not played Golden State. Remember, it is the other Los Angeles team (the Clippers) who has beaten GSW two times. How did they accomplish this? By playing the GSW style of basketball, but adding 2 bigs in the mix and allowing James Harden to penetrate, and kick the ball out for 3 point shooters. Yes, the second game, GSW almost won and if they had made the foul shots, they would have won. In summary, GSW is a big man away from an NBA championship. How is the rookie big guy doing with GSW. We have heard nothing.

Steph is averaging less points because the team is so deep, they don't have to rely on him to carry them. Steph could average 30 if he and Kerr wanted him to, but that isn't going to take them far.. And speaking of Kerr. Can't believe Perk said he blamed Kerr the last couple seasons. Kerr is a big reason they continue to win with every different iteration of the Golden State Warriors. He's the one leading the team and figuring out how to perfectly utilize the talent on his team, no matter how long they've been on the roster. Perk being critical is one thing, but the n3rds on the internet who never won a thing in their life saying "FIRE KERR" one of the most winning coach players of all time is hilarious.

Steve Kerr teaches a specific kind of system and when the players aren't capable of performing, it just doesn't work. The 2015-2019 did well with what Kerr system could do. And now the 24-25 Warriors are adapting well with it.
