Sometimes in life we go in these bubbles in the deep blue see and we find ourselves engulfed by the monsterous waves of happiness, pinecones, and rainbows. And when we get out of the pinecones we enter a whole dimension thats smells of barf and rotten feet that we fall back into obscurity and emotion , and when we get back into the ocean we jump over the rainbow and hide behind the walls of politicians but then we find out theyre not politicians but more so the scum of the earth that we walk over with our germ infested sneakers. Then we wake up , open the door and say hi to the Angels

I miss seeing you so I watched this again mostly for the Joanna laugh. I know you know my ups and downs with weight loss. It’s always a struggle. Momma Barrie is proud of you for sharing your story. My weight is creeping up so I’m back to watching my calories. I’m not really strict keto anymore. I would say carb conscious. We have Aunt Millie carb smart bread here and I find it close to real breads. It’s 40 calories a slice. I like the 5 seed one. We also usually get the low carb tortillas. It does help to track. I use the carb manager app but have done the my fitness pal one too. I just wanted to say you look great and keep up the good work. I miss your daily stuff but I know you have lots of more important things in your life that keep you very busy! 💗

Thank you so much. I get overwhelmed by these complicated diets Truth is, they’re all the same. Burn more calories than you consume. They all work! When I first started the deficit I was very hungry. It’s much easier now as I think my stomach shrank! Thank you for your kindness!

This video resonated with me. I’ve lost 25 lbs since July 15 by eating in a caloric deficit but when people ask me what I’m doing I say “keto” because I don’t want to deal with the potential judgement. I eat from all food groups, I just eat way less than my body burns and, like you, I want it to be over and done with. I don’t want any more mental bandwidth to be devoted to weight loss and dieting.. the sooner I get to my goal, the sooner I can be psychologically freed up for more interesting things in life 🤷♀️

How much sweetened condensed milk do you use for coffee? I’d love to try that, it sounds delicious. I miss coffee (on weight loss path as well) but I cannot drink it without my Italian sweet cream creamer so I’d rather not drink it at all.
@PlasmaSpeedos3 жыл бұрын
I used to add an entire quarter cup lmfao With a tablespoon of milk Now I do 1 tbls heavy cream (the high fat content of the heavy cream keeps me full longer and cuts the bitterness of coffee better than milk does) And 2-3 tbls of condensed milk depending on how many calories I have to spare!

I literally went from 320 lbs to 140 in a year doing almost this exact same thing! It definitely works! I have always been bad about dieting and giving up when i don't see results fast enough, I am very impatient when it comes to those things. Now, COVID happened and I got depressed and I wasn't impressing anyone, sooooooooooo......I ate everything lol and gained 45 lbs! I have always fluctuated in weight, one year I'll be 125 and then the next I'll be 205. So crazy! Sweet baby girl wanted her camera time! Future lil superstar! I love her talking and making all the noise!! 😍😍😍! All that beautiful hair reminds me of my daughter when she was first born, so sweet!

Wow that is really impressive!!! I have mostly stayed at about 160. Was getting harder to do as I age. With my first pregnancy I gained 85 pounds!!! 😲 I lost it all when my second was about 8 months old. Then I got pregnant again and my sister died shortly after so I fell into a depression. Add another preg on top and I’ve fluctuated like you’ve mentioned a lot the last couple years. Hahahahaha not impressing anybody Why is it that we can find so much motivation from external sources 😂 I think someone said I looked fat last winter. I don’t think they knew I was pregnant. Anyway, it irked me and when I want to eat a bowl of Mac and cheese I think of that jerk 😂

I’m on a weight loss journey myself right now. Not for vanity but for health. So many people worry about vanity, I just want to feel better. My lifestyle changed so much in the last 5 years and the weight came on because I was so inactive and dealing with chronic pain. I had to have spinal surgery to get more active and I’m down about 15 lbs and still have a ways to go. I truly hate discussing this with people so I haven’t told anyone. I don’t give a shit about others opinions and I don’t freaking need them. I’m also in the midst of grieving the loss of my grandfather I just lost him on the 14th of September so it’s hard not to eat some of my feelings while I grieve. I’m just taking it day by day and I know he would want me to be healthy. My fiancé did ask me not to lose the booty though and I remember you mentioning your husband was about the booty too 😂 Can’t wait to watch you feel healthier and I hope you do keep us updated on that. 💛 Edit: I’m following a Keto diet kinda loosely as well during this.
@PlasmaSpeedos3 жыл бұрын
I’m sorry to hear about your loss. Loss so great is truly devastating. 😔 I’m happy to hear you are doing something to help you feel better I feel so hypocritical complaining about my back when I’ve done nothing to help myself. I have no pity for people that don’t try to help themselves. So that’s a huge motivation for me I don’t want to feel like a weak ass biatch that has no self discipline because I’d like to think I’m disciplined. To me, that’s a favorable trait. So I need to practice what I preach Also When I want cake or something and I give in At 5 pm my calories are already met. I’m hungry. And I don’t really feel like I benefited from the cake. It’s already in the last. The tastiness didn’t stay with me all day, it was only there in that moment- so as long as I can distract myself through those moments, I can stop myself from binge eating. Never at 8pm did I sit there and think man I’m glad i mindlessly ate those 5 cookies It’s usually quite the opposite 😂 You can do it!

So for context, I've lost about 80lbs over the past year, and one of the worst things about it has been people commenting on my weight. One woman at work keeps asking me if I'm doing cr***, another woman, I mentioned I was going to the gym after work and she gave me a super judgemental look and told me I already lost enough weight. Later that day, the same woman told me I was going to gain all my weight back and I needed to eat healthier because she saw me eat a bag of chips. Calorie counting is a necessary part of losing weight! The only way you lose weight is by being in a calorie deficit, whether it's caused by exercising or eating less. We keep over complicating weight loss with restrictive and complicated diets when it's simple math. I think that it comes from a good place (at least, that's what I tell myself lol), but man, I wish people would just focus on themselves instead of others.
@PlasmaSpeedos3 жыл бұрын
It doesn’t come from a good place. Imo When someone comments on someone else’s weight or food intake it’s bx they’re miserable. There are plenty obese people that couldn’t care less about someone losing weight. And there are plenty “fit” people interjecting their opinion into the lives of overweight people; neither of these types of people are happy. So when someone remarks about what you are doing it’s because You are doing something they can’t. They’d rather slow you down, hold you back, so they’re not alone. Your self discipline and drive is just a daily reminder to them that they’re not doing anything to help themselves so they decide to make catty remarks to you. Stuff it in their face, Patricia. You got this!

Nice job! People get so offended when you tell them weight loss is just Calories in, calories out. I guess it makes them feel guilty because they know it's possible and they're not doing anything. What's your goal weight? (Obviously don't answer if your not comfortable). I love the baby sounds :)

I was 160 in boot camp and always fluctuated 5 pounds up or down. That’s the weight I’ve been all my adult life prior to kids so maybe around there. I have more muscle now though so i may not be that weight once I’m comfortable!

All the kiddos are growing so fast, and I think Baby J wants to be a vlogger already. She's just looking into the camera and trying to say "Welcome to my video!" I am back on my weight loss journey, thanks to diabetes and just physical pain. I am down 59 lbs in less than 12 months (I am still fat, but not AS fat). I make bad choices if they are available. I just have to keep bad stuff out of my house as much as I can. I was doing Freshly Meals, but kind of got tired of them. They were my one meal a day. At work I eat only carb free stuff, like Olives, cheese, jerky, nuts, and seeds. I drink water, tons and tons of water. I should be able to count trips to the bathroom as exercise. I do have a cheat day, Tuesday. On Tuesday, I eat what I want. Today was Chinese for lunch. Dinner was no carbs. A couple hours after my carby Chinese lunch, my blood sugar was 120, which is great! I did the 1200 calorie diet a few years back when I was preparing for my Lap Band. It didn't work for me. I became food obsessed and anxiety filled. They finally bumped me to 1600 calories (which was still a massive deficit from my unhealthy norm) and I survived that diet by eating the exact same meal, 3 meals a day, 6 days a week, with 1 day I could have anything I wanted. In 5 months, I lost over 50 lbs doing that. Then I got my lap band and my surgeon made a few mistakes and I ended up unable to even keep water down for 11 days, had a feeding tube down my nose, and was an emotional wreck thanks to my anxiety. I lost 30 more pounds in those 11 days (the surgeon actually congratulated me on that, despite the fact it was 100% starvation and dehydration). They took the lap band back out and I gained all of that back and more, I hit the highest weight I ever had been, became diabetic, and was just a lump of defeated fat. When they put me on Insulin, I started waking up. I did really good until 2020 hit and my weight went back up almost 25 lbs. My a1c shot through the roof, and that was it for me. I've been losing ever since. Almost 60 lbs down since Dec of 2020.

This was a powerful read. It’s evidence that weight loss and food can be such an overwhelming thing to navigate. It’s not as simple as cutting calories for a lot of people because there are SO many things that go into WHY they are eating how they are. It’s more than just a surplus of calories, there are sometimes mental and physical obstacles. I hope you don’t mind if I pin this comment? I think it would be helpful for people to see that it’s not such a cut and dry thing for most people. 😔

@@PlasmaSpeedos Pin away. We humans eat for so many reasons. I wish I could be one of this "food is fuel" people who just eat to keep their body moving. I come from a family who used food to celebrate, to mourn, to reward, to comfort, as a sport, and even to punish sometimes. It is so wrapped up in emotions for me, but I am learning how to handle my brain without filling my mouth.
