Thanks for the video. I'm like you i think how proud the family was when they drove those cars out the lot, the story those cars could tell.

They turned 3 buildings into veterans housing. 2 buildings are probation offices. They have a homeless shelter in the circle. Also they have a work release/weekend time facility in the circle. There are maybe 3 buildings left abandoned. I encountered some weird shit living in 1 of the buildings

The owners should be invited to the WHITE HOUSE for a formal dinner and a GOLD MEDAL for perserving a piece of Americana all these past years. Kudos to the whole family, past and present. Luv you all. Bravo. !

Great Job Brother! Appreciate your efforts, and such a privilege to see this beautiful & haunting place! I just found a 3D version of the 1922 film called 'Orlok, The Vampire' on DVD (which does require 3D glasses). All brand new copies of this DVD come with 2 pairs of 3D glasses. But I recommend the 2013 KINO edition for the highest quality, unless you have a Blue Ray 100th Anniversary edition, which would be the ultimate experience. Cheers!

One boat in the beginning of the video had wooden Trik skis and a ski belt. Fond memories of my father. I retired the wooden ones to my ski wall. I still use modern ones to ski backwards at 61 years old. Like riding a bike 🙂
