Hey Duncan. I just wanted to drop a message on the latest video to say I've been on a bit of a weird journey this afternoon /evening binge watching your Blackpool tale from start to finish, directed from Walking Turnip's video featuring yourself. (Which was a random KZbin recommendation in the first place). It's been quite the rollercoaster, and I've only been experiencing it second hand. Must admit, the stuff with punching down Cat6, and configuring the Ubquiti stuff, getting the SFP connectors... etc Had me tearing my own hair out like "I'd do that for you in an afternoon... And i haven't worked in a data centre in over a decade..." - I felt your pain. Fire alarm system similar deal (I know that same panel WAY more than I'd care to). (Also I'm very aware I'm saying that based on only the stuff you've shared, no doubt you had all sorts of other complications going on). Conversely, I'd be the last person in the world you'd want to be painting and decorating, laying floorboards, plumbing... It wax genuinely really interesting viewing. But the bit that got me so curious was the pride you showed (understandable now I've seen what went into it all) in that clip in Turnip's video and the concept of "Digital nomad dedicated space". I'm well travelled for work as a technical person, but never on my terms -employer says "go here" and put me in the cheapest hotel possible. Friends have said "Wow that must been so interesting, you've seen so many places!" - off an aeroplane into an office into a holiday inn, back onto an aeroplane... Can't say as it was particularly glamorous or fun. I'm Brighton based at the minute, which hardly needs much plugging in terms of cool place to be in England, but I also wanted to say good on ya for the way you seem to be all about promoting Blackpool and highlighting / getting involved with the local scene. Also VERY weirdly random, I'm pushing 40 rotations around the sun this week, and I haven't stepped on a skateboard in about 15 years - might treat myself to a decent skateboard (and some protective gear) for my birthday. Who makes them? This is KZbin, not Channel 4 :) I get the ideas, shoot, edit and talk a loads of.... to the camera. I do everything myself - it's the 'you' in KZbin.

We had just been through the second wave of the the Tsunami in Sri Lanka and the roof we had climbed on to was about to collapse.
