I would not assume that money makes life easier, as one of the hosts said. It very often makes it harder! Just look into the stories of lottery winners...

I live in Central Florida. I do not go camping and spend limited time outside because I am a mosquito magnet and get severe hives from their bites. Any recommendations other than Deet poison?

Guys can you please talk less and share less of your life stories, it's off-putting as we want to hear about the interviewee and not about you? My partner and I started listening to you but have stopped because we both find we can't stay engaged long enough as we want to hear about the people you are interviewing. I wanted to hear more about Dub, but couldn't hear much about him.

I haven't camped a day in my life, but I'm still able to appreciate Dub's talents. Watching Alone, particularly Season 11, I learned so much about being more grateful for what I have and not putting any energy into what I don't have. And I'm talking about the basics like food, water, and the comforts of home. Thank you for that wake up call.

Love the video. But I have a question, by living among them like this, aren't you and your crew causing these people hardship? Like for instance instead of providing for themselves, they have to now provide for you and your crew too?
@ianimations1656Ай бұрын
They pay to tribe to stay with them, the money makes up the difference for the food they eat. That's how they get the corn flour they eat with basically every meal and the salt that they put in it. It also lets them buy the metal arrowheads they use and the clothes they wear, which saves them a ton of calories by not smithing or flintknapping/leatherworking or weaving them themselves. It all evens out in the end. The hadza are long since separated from the strictly hunter gatherers they once were, they had to modernize a lot to adapt to the modern world closing in all around them.

A 5X7 nylon tarp or poncho is packable and will make a quick shelter. Sitting down with a blanket or poncho wrapped around you with a candle will keep you warm. A bivy bag can also help.

I have to admit, i'm jealous to have that intimate mentorship from a young age, it feel kinda like a missing link in my own development as a human. I have been on a spiritual pursuit sing i reached adulthood, but to ground awareness down into Mother Earth in such a affirmative and developmentally aligned way seems amazing and honestly crucial for (being a human) on this particular planet. Damn. Gonna call in my elder teachers here, I felt really inspired by the animals being the best teachers, if we can attune to their level of vibration.
