great, but could be better. If your target audience is student nurses, DO emphasize this is a "straight cath" method, and NOT the same as you would do to insert an INDWELLING catheter, (which would require several more steps than what you do to get a specimen.) --------Most often, nurses wear "clean" gloves(Not sterile) to place drapes (it is harder to place a drape on a human with legs and NOT contaminate your gloves) and then, remove the 'clean' gloves and THEN put on the sterile gloves,------- which is WHY the sterile gloves are UNDER The drapes. That might be worth mentioning in your video.. Otherwise the students will wonder why are the sterile gloves not on the top of the kit? --------Also, you "should" also set up a place to drop the used swabbies, such as using the plastic bag the kit came in. Or, prior to starting, do kick trash basket nearby to drop the USED swabbies in trash bin. Dropping dirty swabbies onto the same tray he will eat his dinner off of will require you to clean that table, (an extra step no nurse has time for!) ------Also, you might want to consider putting lid on speci cup a bit sooner and remind your students that jar goes into a speci bag next, and must get to the lab in timely manner. Otherwise, good enough.

The male doesn't have to be exposed until after the kit is set up ! Numbing gel should be used ! Nurses don't like to use numbing gel, because it takes an extra five minutes ! Outside the U.S. this is standard practice, but in the U.S. men are treated like animals !

It’s not a painful procedure and numbing gel requires a prescription and interferes with the sample.

@MrCyberife _____ Not true, once the kit is set up, her hands are now sterile. She can not then remove the blankets, etc. You missed the point of the video entirely, watch it again and hear how many times she advises to not touch anything once your sterile gloves are on. and no, you can not set up the kit WITHOUT using the sterile gloves. And, this might be news to You but Not all patients are clean, (or even close..) Incontinence happens, My Cyberlife. It is good to find out if she needs to wash the patient up BEFORE she has sterile gloves on. YOU haven't been around hospital or nursing home patients too often, but it is best to assess how much cleansing needs to be done first, before you put on sterile gloves. Also, Mr Cyberlife, note where the kit is on the bed...it is between his legs, see? so if he is still dressed and under a blanket? How do you remove the blankets and underpants (if any) without contaminating the kit......you picture maybe pulling the blanket out from under the kit or what?
