Wondering how many viewers know the real names of the jazz players mentioned or even if they ever heard of many of them. Either way, this was a great aggregation of jazz greats. Lots of fun. Should be played in tandem with Willie Maiden's "He Just Can't Swing".

It’s criminal how few times people have enjoyed this amazing rendition of this old classic! I think this might be the best version of the song I’ve ever heard. Wonderful playing, oh, and you couldn’t have nailed the spirit of this song any better. Bravo!

Magnificent, riveting! Way back around 2004, David opened for Etta James in Richmond, Va, & that was the first time I ever saw him. WOW, no one wanted him to end his set! At the end of the concert, I made my way to a table he'd set up, told him how much I absolutely loved his set and promptly bought his CD Stuck On The Way Back and also Ocean Or A Teardrop. Since then, I've bought each CD he's made including Live From The Left Coast with Bob Beach and it's terrific. The whole darn world needs to see/hear both of these wonderful artists. SO great!

Why do good players like bresh think playing so fast makes them sound better ?

@birdman5939 It doesn't, what ever kind of music is played these days, there are those, players, and listeners alike who like music played at 100 mph. Playing tastefully is much better. 👌

Beautiful. Gove is amazing. Saw him years ago at a folk club in Miami, Florida. Like many great artists, has never received the recognition he deserves. By the way, this song was written by Danny Flowers--not Emmylou. She recorded a cover of the song on her album "Pieces of the Sky" (title taken from lyrics of this great song).
