I see a Vodka and orange on the go. Good content keep it going!! - I have fished Chesil all my life (now 46) its a shame whats happened to Chesi, as far as im aware the pinch on overnight started a year or 2 ago.. IE you could stay overnight but it had to be an open "tent" and you fishing not sleeping (crazy) .. Im afraid a few (along with so many complaints from anglers) caused this.. Its a case of be careful what you wish for. I admit the tent cities that used to appear in the summer months annoyed me, but the non stop moaning from the fishing communities lead to this as far as i can make out. Its nothing to do with trying to stop fishing there, Bexi is hardly somewhere you go to take your kids for a paddle/ swim. That is unless you were a kid in the 80s and your dad loved to fish. Looking back at being 8 years old jumping into the water at West Bexi.. NUTS. Anyway, great content liked and subd.

Thanks for the reply, I agree about the tent cities on the beach,it looks awful. I'll be back in a few weeks for another crack. The fish have been thin on the ground everywhere I've been recently but I'm hoping this will change..I'll keep putting those baits out 😜

@@NEStreetAngling Im heading down to West Bay shortly to fish off the rocks with my ugly stick spinning rod & lure set. Never fished there before so that'll be interesting.

Hi there stumpy, the trolly is a game changer..there not cheap but worth every penny. It's still takes a bit of effort to pull, but so much better than carrying all the gear. If I remember,I'll do another quick review in my next vid for you. I'm heading up to chesil in a few days so keep watching. 😁

Hi Nigel , me and a friend were down there same day but in the evening we fished 7 pm till about midnight ,we fished right in the middle of the bouys and had no issues I don’t think it is either pots or nets I was told is is just bouys that mark off an area that boats should not come into for the swimmers and kids to be safe in ? Makeral, eels and dogfish for us so not much better lol

Just came here after watching your Hopes Nose video on the old channel. I used to fish there all the time around 40 years ago too, I was only a young teenager then. We must've crossed paths at various points. Shame about the issues at that mark, still a lovely spot though. I used to catch plaice, dabs, gurnards, occasional black bream, and codling from the mark you fished, and from the 'high ground' slightly over to its left. Great to have seen that. Good luck with the channel and all the best.
