@christinaogles7881 Even though it was busy, it was such a nice day. It's definitely something I need to get in the habit of. I want my kids to be able to look back at photos from their childhood, not just pictures on fb. They are some heels I thrifted, target brand. I'll have to see if I can find a link!

@christinaogles7881 That's how I feel! Odelia is 8 months old, and I only have her anatomy scan framed 🫣 I need to take some updated pictures of the kids and frame them. It's good you have the pictures, though. It seems daunting to print them off, but you will feel so good when you do! I I love a good thrift find!!!

We actually have a strawberry patch and raspberry patch! We already ate all the strawberries we grew, and our raspberries are just starting to ripen. Both berry patches are small but should get bigger and bigger each year. Barrett and I actually snacked on a few straight from the bush last night ❤️ 😊

Michael always makes fun of me because I stock up on mayo when costco has it for sale! Haha Apparently Hellmann's and Best foods is the same just labeled differently depending on your location?! Have you tried Duke's? I didn't think it was that special.

Thank you!!! Lots of cookbooks, pinterest, and I write all our meal plans down so I can go back and look. I nornally like meal planning, but some weeks, it seems exhausting. I also feel like we are always eating the same things!!

I love a good lazy day!!! Odelia is 6 months old ❤️ Ohhhhh jealous! We took a 6 week break when Odelia was born so we aren't done until the end of June. But....the kids have been working extra to get done sooner.

Aw so sweet! Adelaide will be 8 months on the 14th! I understand taking a break..we took 3 weeks off in October too when I had the baby! I think we're going to take a long summer break until mid August..how about you guys? No summer trips planned, just some local things and fun camps!

@emilypanko2434 Oh, the girls are only a month apart, Odelia will be 7 months on the 17th! Is Adelaide crawling yet? All my kids were late crawlers and walkers and Oj shows no interest in crawling. We are taking the kids to silverwood in Idaho again. We skipped last year since I was pregnant, and we were working on the kitchen. This year we are taking my parents, which will be fun. Plus, my mom can watch Oj so that Michael and I can take the big kids on water rides. I hate how fast summer break goes by!! We signed the kids up for a local all prep academy for next year. Still homeschool with the option of joining a pod that meets 3 days a week. I believe their first day back is Sept 3rd, so we should have a decent break.

@Jessika.Stanley That's so fun! No crawling yet..I've had early and late crawlers and I prefer late, because you know when they start walking it's into everything lol! That sounds like a fun summer trip! It will be nice to have extra help. Yes, summer goes by too quick! I love the farmers market, too. It's a little bit spendy for our budget, but it's fun to walk around and look. They both really liked Garfield, Chris Pratt voices Garfield, which I didn't know. They have lamb and beef gyro meat at Costco, and it's actually pretty good. We serve it on naan with tzatziki, cucumbers, tomatoes, and onion!

I can't imagine 6. Home canned chicken is so much better than the store bought, way cheaper too. We stocked up when safeway had it on sale for 1.49 a lb. And yes! Michael remodeled the kitchen while inwas pregnant. New countertops (all the tile countertops are gone!!!) Back splash, sink, and painted cabinets.

It will get easier for you..especially after the year mark...that's when mine always start sleeping all night and have good nap routines set. That's always fun keeping the name a secret! We named her Adelaide..Lady for short. Also because I have 5 girls and 1 boy..the last girl! I'm definitely going to try and make my own canned chicken now! That's awesome on your kitchen 😊

@emilypanko2434 Oh my, what a cute name and nickname. The first 4 months were really hard. But now, each day is a little easier. There was such a big gap between my kids I had forgotten a lot. I felt like a first-time mom. Let me know when you do your chicken and what you think of it!! We like canning it in quarts because it fits about 2lbs of meat and that's perfect for our family.

Her name is Odelia (oh-deal-yuh) We call her OJ for short 😀 And just one is jiu-jitsu, my son. My husband actually had his first class tonight!

​@shereignsox Same here! I had a slight freak out this school year...ha!😂 We ended up switching to a mostly online curriculum, and it has been a life saver. I felt like I was drowning in school work before we switched. I don't have an instagram, just a personal Facebook page. Hello!!!! Thank you for checking in on us on our long break. I'm so excited to be back. Oh my goodness, graduating? That is so exciting, what a big accomplishment for them and you! Oh no, do you need me to send over the recipe? That's one of my favorite/most used bread recipes. We have been putting it in bread pans topped with jalapeno and cheddar.
