This is the same setup I came up with for street/circuit use, good to know there are people tracking it and not just doing 40 rolls on clunky radials. The chassis, handling, and braking of the A80 is one of it's greatest assets, and the least utilized.

I am torn between this and the Top Secret hood. Seibon is not good. Ridox and TS are the only way to go. I think the TS hood is around 12/13lbs as measured on Supraforums, but this hood looks better. Decisions, decisions....

I saw you had an oe style hood with added vents, and now TS, did you play with setup to isolate that the different hoods gave you better heat extraction through the coolers, or is this part of a broader revamp of cooling, ducting and heat extraction?

Did you have to run a dedicated power wire to the battery for the 445-U amp? I'm considering this for my MKIV. I am not a fan of additional wires. Alpine states anything with 15w fuse or higher can use existing power/ground. MKIV has 2 fuses (under hood 20a and driver kick panel at 7.5a)

@@Weapons_Free_Racing I ended up running a dedicated wire to the kick panel fuse box. Our cars are pre wired for seat heaters (canada cars came with them). Its rated for 15amps and enough to drive modern 200w amps. Night and day difference if you have aftermarket speakers.

This looks incredible! I'm interested in doing my first track day/HPDE here soon. I live in Charlotte so I've kind of been between CMP and VIR. VIR seems like it's more for experienced drivers. Do you think CMP would be a better place to start or would going straight to VIR not be that out of line? Not sure if it matters but I'll be driving a ~500rwhp 340i xDrive that still has an open diff, which is my only worry.
