I also found my toe box ends up really pointy like that…. Tempted to pull it inside out and just slip stitch the toe shut with a crochet hook

I don't know if it will help, but a tip for the straps of your tote bag I've seen other people sew a strip of fabric along the back of the straps to prevent any extra stretching. I haven't tried it yet but theoretically it should help especially because stitches like the thermal stitch can take a while to work up as well. Hope this helps 👍🏽

Seconding this! I’ve used twill tape instead of fabric for crochet bag straps before and it’s still holding up really well!

I actually think it’s very normal to have days or weeks with “no crochet/knitting time”. Take your time and do it whenever you feel inspired by the yarn or pattern. It’s the very thin line of when you love something and when you feel obligated to do something
@ribsybambi17 күн бұрын

It does sound like you’re getting a bit burnt out, I suggest taking more breaks and maybe doing other activities to reset!! New materials can help I think but it’s important to take care of yourself <33 it’s hard to balance when you’re a content creator but yeah. Lovely video as always :)

You should look into a thermal stitch for the strap for your water bottle holder. It’s very sturdy and won’t stretch as much

I crochet but have always wanted to knit. In fact originally I wanted to knit but my great grandma didn't like to do it so she taught me crochet instead. Knitting is always fascinating to me and the I love how the projects are more wearable but I'm still scared to try it because I will probably not do well. I have a book and everything. Just need to buy needle and better yarn for it... One day ill try it lol

I know it can look scary (I was scared to try crocheting at first too!) but once you get it it's all muscle memory ;)) I like that knitted pieces are more wearable too!! hope you try it out one day <3

Hiii, I just found your account, and I love it. I love the format of the vlogs and your projects are amazing. I now crochet for a while, and I really wanted to start knitting (kinda because I think sweater look a bit better knitted than crochet ), but I just can’t get into knitting. I tried it some times now, but I always get so confused, and what I knitted looked absolutely terrible (the tension was complete off I think), and I just don’t know what I can do. Do you maybe have some Tipps, or saw a tutorial which is good, and where you can really understand it as a beginner? I would really appreciate it, because seeing you knit this amazing things, make me want to also make them haha ❤️❤️

Hiii thank you so much for kind words 🥹 When I was starting out I watched Tiffany Liew’s knitting 101 videos but if you want to try and knit a beginner sweater I highly recommend Handmade By Florence’s Step by Step Sweater (free tutorial and pattern on KZbin) a lot of people have made this as their first sweater! Made In The Moment also has a super clear and beginner friendly video tutorial on how to knit a raglan top. Hope this helps! If you have more questions don’t hesitate to send me an DM 🫶🏻

When grafting, don't do the set up and final rows. Basically, the skip the special steps that have you go through the first and last stitches twice, just go through once. It helps a lot with the pointy corners.

I will shout this from the rooftops to anyone who will listen. Did you know you can knit socks two at a time and it isn't as hard as you think????? There are a lot of nice tutorials out there, and when you're done knitting YOU DON'T HAVE TO DO ANOTHER SOCK. Seriously. Check it out anyone who is interested or reads this. It changed my life. 😂
