"I wish" is not exactly about a lover leaving her or her mother passing away (her mother is well and alive!). It's about her grandpa (her dad's dad) passing away when she was 10 and her realizing that her own parents won't live forever. "Stay a little longer I'm not ready for you to go, it hasn't even happened but I have been mourning since 10 years old" is her talking about her parents and how she is aware of death now and that now at 23 (well 24 years old now) she wishes she could see the world through the eyes of her younger self before she was aware of death. "Willow" is about her younger self, cause she has always been an emotional person and she wishes she could tell her younger self that everything is okay. And you're right Willow is also for a weeping willow tree! Two analogies in one! Oh and funnily enough she isn't a gemini moon, she is a pisces moon but during the relationship she is talking about in the song, when she'd look up to the sky she'd often see the moon and would look up for fun what the moon was in and it was always a gemini moon so that's why! Glad you enjoyed listening to her songs! You should react to her EP, Everything to Everyone, possibly the deluxe version and also the deluxe version of Snow Angel, she has so many more great songs!

I love this song, it's both hopeful and melancholic this live version was not recorded in front of an audience. They did it for a livestream to introduce the song. If you want to see it in front of an audience, they played it yesterday in Hannover in front of 20.000 people. Im not sure if you know, but a lot of his music is about his mom, who passed away when he was in his early twenties. Thats who he is talking about losing im East Side Of Sorrow for example. He was praying for God to bring him home safely home to his mom while he was in the military, and he ended up losing her

It was al a bit rushed and you talk a little too much through the songs.. It's such a great album with some amazing songs on it. Actually some of the last songs like Mark Chapman, Il dono della vita , Supermodel are amongst my favorites on this album (and should have gotten a bit more attention) next to Gossip and Own my mind. But baby said, The loneliest and Read your diary are masterpieces too.
