Could you have accidentally mixed up the video between the two? Something sure seems strange. Shorties are tend to be all over the place, and longer barrels are usually more consistent.

Thanks for the review! Great Video. For the price (low) I paid for this ammo, I thought it performed well at the range. Seeing this video, makes me say it performs great. @@oso4586 I went to it due to availability when Remington started having QC issues with std press 110 (At 890 fps it expanded, at 795 fps no such luck). Colt DS was advertised for .38 HV with more frequent inspections (150 @ 1175 fps), but they recommended against +P when asked later (Maybe just for liability, but I'm trying to color within the lines).

Nice demo oso. I prefer .380, 32 hr mag and .327 for daily carry. Ruger security 380, smith and wesson 632 uc and ruger lcr 327. I prefer these rounds because of the concealment and manageability of the round especially when one hand use may be needed (in car, etc.) Thanks for the info.👍

@genbigmac2872 handling a 380 from a car or sitting position and one handed, which is very likely i. Either scenario, is much easier with a 380, 32 h&r mag etc. for most people. Either caliber is fine for close defense . placement and getting back on target for multiple follow up rounds is much much easier than a 9 mm, especially if using one handed.

I’m really doubting both of those velocities. Definitely the 2 inch. 1700 from a 2” is unheard of. Then it shows the 6” being slower but in gel you can see the jacket curled all the way to the base vs the 2” which left a decent shank. Edit: I guess you said all this at the end lol

Go to the Fort Scott Munitions KZbin channel and watch them take black bear with their pistol calibers. They were using carbines, due to Canadian laws, but the .380 was one of the calibers used. They even have an autopsy of the bear shot with the .380 to show the wound channel in actual flesh.

My 1st handgun was a used 669 .357 mag in the early 90s I end up having timing issues. When firing double action, I turned it in for repair and it took a while to come back but when it came back it ran flawlessly. Taurus of lately I feel has really stepped up their game. Especially with the release of the new TH10 10mm that is going to be my next firearm purchase. I almost got the TH40 but Academy had the s&w SD40VE on sale for a great price and I'd never owned a smith and wesson so I got that instead. I've only seen the all black TH10 I'm holding out a little while I'm hoping to get one coyote brown or od green. Thanks for commenting and for viewing
