I just got a used 2 group Perla, pressure doesn’t go much above 1 before it cuts out and drops back down to .8 in the blue - do you know if that matters?

Could be numerous things including a blockage if it's really old. But could be the pressure pump. Hard to tell without proper diagnosis. Might be worth getting an engineer to come and have a look?

The video is called brand new install but it doesn't show the install it just talks about it. Useless if you're looking for a step by step guide to installation.

I love my S5, some say it's a little overkill for my residential use (1 or 2 coffee a day) but we only live once!

Yeah, maybe a little if you're only doing 1-2 cups a day. An S1 would have done you better ;)

I'm really not sure? I've never heard that before. You can grab the machine support info from Nespresso.com They've helped me before :)

The only part I didn't understand was when you were steaming the milk... when it starts rising, what do you do?... lower the cup (sorry my english not my first language) so the tip of the steamer comes out of the milk? ... I didn't see that clearly, I understood that I just need to put the steamer a little under the milk, not that deep am I right?...

Hey. Thanks for watching. You've pretty much got it. The steam wand doesn't come out but stays close to the surface to allow more air to be added in which increases the volume of the milk.

Really helpful review. Is the chocolate flavour prevalent? Also maybe a daft question but can you add this to milk and zap it in the microwave if you dont have a steamer?

Glad you liked it! The chocolate flavour was definitely there but didn't dominate the flavour. And yeah, you defo can microwave. Just isn't as creamy :)

Hey! Yeah you can but it might take a bit longer and can leave a nasty smell. So make sure you thoroughly rinse the machine before using again ;)

full fat milk? is that full cream milk?, when I asked for full fat milk the guy didnt know what I was talking about he said you mean full cream milk

Where are you from? Full fat and full cream are different but labeled and named differently in different countries

Here in the states it's normally just called "whole milk", as opposed to skim or 2%.

@@maryellis3661 I guess it depends on the machine. Don't forget this is the operating temperature not the water temperature so there is probably a degree of variance between machines. So between 90 and 120 send pretty normal 😊
