Vlad, unfortunately, is obsoletion realized.

Just as a minor update- Vlad II has since been repaired and been on display alongside the original Vlad the Impaler.

I think Vladiator was a much better/stronger bot. I should know, I worked with Gage. The problem is, Gage used Al for armor when that bot should have been Ti. Both bots should have had ti armor.

Different Bot. Gage built Vladiator a lot stronger than Vlad2. Gage sold both bots to someone who didn't know much about engineering once Battlebots was done.

Vladiator was a champion and, correct me if I'm wrong, they are the same bot.

Simple? 4-bar lifters and lifters with unfolding spikes aren't simple.

Why don't you like Biohazard? Also, this WAS a real Vlad. Vlad 2 replaced Vlad the Impaler in S5 of Battlebots.

Except what Hypno did to thin aluminum, Last Rites does to shock mounted titanium. Plus, Hypno never hurled broken pieces across the arena when it removed them :)

i don't know if i'd call getting stuck on the wall a "design flaw". stuff happens, and your bot finds itself in an undesirable position. end of 2011, according to Matt, Sewer Snake never lost its flipper chain. come RG2012, SS gets hit once by Boogaloo, chain snaps and SS is now upside down and can't self-right. wouldn't call that a flaw would you? Preda's problem is a classic case of "doing too much". Preda looks awesome, but getting the design all ironed out will be quite the feat.

That was the most destructive fight I saw since Hypno-Disc took out Splinter in RW series 4

I am pretty sure Vlad will be at Combots Cup though, even if he has to hold the armour on with duct tape.

Chaos isn't nearly as bad as Vlad & Biohazard. :'(

Damn, Preda Raptor gave Sewer Snake a run for his money until near the end. It has too much of a design flaw to be successful though.
