This is a classic description of sectarianism 'making God in your own image he hates everyone you hate'. Protestantism is a heterodoxcy unintelligible in the absence of catholism

I would’ve preferred the language of vocation for reasons for having children, as opposed to duty, but that’s more a linguistic argument when it comes down to it. Other than that, he’s spot on.

Who the bloody hell are you to be "shocked" when young people lose their faith? What business its of yours what religion they may or may not hold? Do you honestly think these young people haven't gone through serious introspection and thoughtful consideration before they left? Other kids (like me) never believed it from the get go; I simply went along for the ride because I know it's not smart to out myself as atheist while still dependent on fundamentalist Christian parents. Wake up and smell the freedom of religion, lady, because the very freedom that allows you to hold your Christian beliefs allows other people to reject them.

You people really don't like young people having religious views that are different than yours, do ya. How will you possibly cope with this explosive growth of young atheists? Better get used to it because it's only the beginning.
