Not one true timber cutter/feller in this video. Been a timber cutter for 30yrs in the mnt of TN AL GA cutting for 3 big skidders if you pull one splinter out of a veneer trees it will cost 100s if not 1000s of dollars. If it takes you 30 min to cut a tree skidders is parked waiting on you.

If the cut is dangerous, why don't lumberjacks do the same as miners- drill a hole, insert dynamite, and get the heck away? I know nothing about tree cutting, so this is an actual and probably naive question.

so really big deal, I don't see it, because it's a lonely tree, it's not in the forest or between buildings, you brag too much, it's really easy to cut down a lonely tree, how brave you guys are!

These guys will get someone killed one day, if not themselves. Facecut notch is WAY too shallow, and they are using a saw with a bar length that is WAY too short. They are using a car jack, not a tree jack, and so many other things wrong it’s hard to list them all..advice from a professional for those who are wondering.
