@@M41NFR4M3Gaming Just to be clear, you were using a FCLGA1151 socket, 9th Generation intel processor 9700K w/ a RTX 2080 & you got between 120 - 144 fps in 1440p 2k resolution? Respectfully, is that even possible? Are you sure you weren't on 1080p because I find that very hard to believe tbh.

I have a similar pc and it runs flawlessly, only place that it struggles a bit is when raiding or being in cities with alot of people.

@@RaulSanchez-mp4om I was very worried going in for the same reasons. I’ve always been team blue. But this is super stable with ZERO issues and no dips or anything. I’m glad I switched as I’m getting much better gaming performance.

The game's Slipspace Engine couldn't able to have a stable FPS depending on the action with a 4090 + 14900k PC. Such a poorly optimized engine from 343 Industries.

I can see the fps footage is fluctuating in this footage, but why not cap it to something like 120hz? I have the same setup with 13th gen and dont have any noticable issues playing on a LGC3.

I have the similar setup and wanted to see the increase in fps from a 3080ti to 3090. Good effort tho. The game has an ingame fps counter just fyi if u end up doing another one

You can just lock the default frequency of the CPU without overclocking it. People are used to do it when they do an overclock to always stay at the same frequencies.

Y'all really dont understand that wow isnt a gpu bound game do you. its all single core. plus he didnt overclock and my 3800x is overclocked to 4.4ghz and i get almost the same performance as 9900k at 5.0ghz. youre missing out on what ryzen has to offer. good luck to you and your overpriced P.O.S. intel processors, amd just keeps smoking yall and intel keeps copying. good luck.

The reality is for gaming intel is better. No you do not get almost the same performance as a 5.0 9900k. Clock speeds are NOT AMDs problem when it comes to gaming its core latency thats the issue. Motherboard is the most important part of a computer you can buy. It's literally it's skeleton and central nervous system so you do not want to cut corners on your motherboard. If you're going to try and save money do it on other components. I use the ROG Maximus Hero XII (Wifi). It's an amazing motherboard especially if you plan on overclocking your processor and it has all the connections you could need on it. You could also get the ROG Gaming-E. However the hero motherboard it is much better and it's a tank

ASUS ROG Strix Z490-E Gaming is a good one if you can't live with out the Asus bios. Otherwise you can go with the MSI z490 tomahawk or carbon. Also 4000mhz ddr4 isnt that big of a deal but can cost a lot more. Maybe consider something around 3200-3600 mhz like the corsair vengeance.

@@CWWJR tomahawk and carbon are the 2 better options within their price range. I don't think you can come up with a better one. Ofc he can go with the top of the line rog maximus XII lineup or the Meg Ace/ godlike. But please remember he is using a 10700k so the additional cost on the mobo would not be justified, he can just save the money and go for the 10900k still getting better results.

@@haishawang9339 Goes back to my original comment. Save money else where. NOT on the motherboard. So many other areas to save. MB is the most important component in your computer. Best to go as high end as possible and try and cut corners/save money on other components. Hell id pick the 10700k and a Hero over a 10900k and a tomohawk in a heartbeat. Get the 10700k and OC on the Hero. Call it a day. There are just so many other areas to save money. Dont do it on the MB or processor imo

Thinking of buying an EVGA GTX 1080 FTW used in 2020 and browsing some benchmark vids. Will also be playing Far Cry 5, so i might just go and buy it since +100FPS in 1440p is easily achievable :)
