This concert was slayers hi point in their career. It was the moment extreme metal sort of broke into the mainstream. They rules Donnington that day with everyone saying they were the best band there.

I can still remember the intensity and the ultimate shock when I first heard this track, soon after it's release in the late 80's. These guys are following up what is hands down the greatest thrash metal album ever recorded, and have set the bar very high - even for themselves. I've heard this song hundreds, if not thousands of times, I know what's coming, but that double bass drumming right out of the gate still hits like a ton of bricks, no matter how straight forward it may be, or how many times I hear it. That's Dave Lombardo...and that's Slayer.🤘🤘
