I am very confused on one-way and two-way ANOVA tests, between-subjects and within-subjects. Can you provide videos on how to conduct these tests in SPSS and the differences in main effects for these tests? I can really use your help.

Ordinal = ranked categories(=grouped), e.g. age group, strongly agree or disagree, severity of injury, yes/no(/unknown) if meaningful Nominal = unranked categories(=grouped), e.g. gender, marital status, yes/no(/unknown) if not meaningful Scale = not grouped numerical, e.g. age, height, weight, time, income [open response numerical questions] yes/no/unknown: • This cannot be answered without knowing exactly what 'unknown' means in your dataset. If 'unknown' refers to missing data, then it's likely best to replace them with 'NA' and analyse the variables as categorical (i.e. nominal). • But imagine that yes/no/unknown were the answers to a question about preference of object A vs. object B. In this case, 'unknown' could mean 'no preference' and if so, there would be a clear sequence: yes > unknown > no. The reverse (no > unknown > yes) is equivalent; the point is that 'unknown' is in the middle. In this situation, it would be reasonable to treat the variables as ordinal. credits to respective owners Just for referencing😃

The problem is that SPSS uses Pearson (not Spearman) to develop scatterplots. The square route of the fit line is the Pearson correlation coefficient, not Spearman.

How to add and analyze the pre-test and post-test scores of MCQs? Like if we have 50 questions in our test. Our test is made on vocabulary enhancement. Our questions are like; synonym of word "pay heed" is, A. Give away B. Pay attention C. Pay dues D. Allow We have 50 questions like this, how would we add all these questions on SPSS?

i'm still studying about spearman and lead me to your videos, thank you it gives me some insight. excuse me sir, i'd like to ask what if the level of happiness is nominated as ordinal category such: badly sad, sad, fairly sad, neutral, fairly happy, just happy, really happy, euphoria instead of score level, could it still be analysed using Spearman? thank you sir.
