Does electrical down tilt influence Received signal power also? Does phase shifter control both tx and rx direction? Or , amount of Received signal will still depend upon the amount of total energy hitting the antenna aperture (which was placed vertical and hasn’t changed during electrical down tilt)

CU is common for Source and target gnb-DU. cp is control plane and up is user plane for gnb-CU.

it depends on your scenarios. they may belongs to same gNb or even different gnb too. in same gnb also you can same CU and mukti DU multi DU. and in case of inter gnb then all will be changed. so to answer your query, it can be for source or target or common for both.
