I'm wondering why Keanu isn't mentioned. They were quite close.

Great job man. It's a really solid song that proves he had a talent for songwriting. It's more traditional, but harder than people think to write a good song that sounds more traditional.

You’ve done a great job on these!👍🏻 When I’ve see n Todd it was sold out but talking to people around me it was like we knew a special secret. Like we were in a special club. My last show at the Greek theatre I met some kids who didn’t know about Nazz so I mailed them a Nazz Nazz cdr.

My first concert was Todd in 1971. He walked out into the audience when he sang “hello it’s me”. I’ve seen him a few times. He hit me in the chest with a guitar pick when he was doing”zen archer”. I still have it.

Well he was good at putting on a little boy lost act. Often tho he looks sly, like "Are you being taken in" He was never clean living, chain Smoker telling interviewers to keep it a secret, his voice sounds smoky. His 'shocking' death just exposed him.

River once told his little brother, Joaquin, that not only would he be a great actor, but he would be greater than him (River).

I don’t know about anybody else but when River sings “And what did you slip in my drink? A nip of absinthe. To get so far, can’t recover and you gotta think it over.” Is so haunting. It’s like a knowing without knowing. It’s like Prince saying “And if the elevator brings you down. Oh no, let’s go.” Prince then dies in the elevator. Creepy!

MARCH 2024 - This documentary film has been considerably updated, immeasurably bettered in key aspects and I'm TRYING to find a site to host it. If you would like a USB copy of this non-profit, labour of love; contact me. Details could be arranged. Respectfully, JSK (Jason Stuart Kamasz)

Fantastic - thank you - ads no problem. Been a life-long fan after seeing him in my youth in London a couple of times (early 70s) once with the original Utopia. Last concert was also London for AWATS, but I've been out to Bearsville and Central Park to see him in between.

Todds album with a twist is shear genius. Taking your popular recordings and converting to a bossa nova style has brought much joy .its the music that you want when you go on a beech vacation .

His style is comparable to Henry Mancini. Gilbert and Sullivan are the spark that launched this genius of a musician. Bowie was also influenced by show tunes. It appears to me that the show tune circuit created the most desirable songs to be played on our airwaves

Since I was about 9 years old I found river and have been watching him in everything since and now 37 and it never gets old. River had such a strong presence and glad to have been alive to see him. What it must’ve been to know him. River lives on 🫶🏻🤌🏻❤ Edit: his music has a sublime vibe

One of the absolutly best actors ever. So present and believable in his characters since he carried so much inside of him. Both joy, creativity and depth/reflection too. You really can tell.

I’m so grateful you made this fabulous documentary. Thanks so much! I was a fan of Todd since Something/Anything? And lucky enough to see him several times including Utopia. It was me who filmed him at the Jazz Cafe that got a significant amount of views here. Lucky enough to have met him there and had a drink in the dressing room post show. What a man !

Absolutely love Todd and Utopia. Been with him since ''Something / Anything'' in 72 when I was 13. Led me onto loads of other artists with his collaborations and production. Shame full that more people don't know of or appreciate him and his genius. Another very similar singer / songwriter and all round genius that is underrated and not well enough known is Peter Hammill . His work with VdGG is just like Todd with Utopia. They both were / are :- born in the same year, have incredible voices, fantastic songwriters, very intellectual, all round nice guys, ahead of their time, ploughed their own furrow musically, and most of all are still active to this day. If you don't know of Peter Hammill or Van der Graaf Generator, then have a look. You may like some of it - beware - Peter is just like Todd in that he won't appeal to everyone but if you like him he is priceless. Long live Todd and Peter.
