When I am in the market for a new thing that requires me to deal with a salesman. I walk into the managers office and look at the sales board. Then I pick the sales staff who needs a boost for the month and give them my business. Anyone walks up to me or starts acting like my best friend in a store and I am 100% guaranteed to walk out of the store and never return. When I’m ready to be helped I will find someone who needs the help in return. Not the douche bag running around in a 5k suit and a 150k car. That guys obviously doing well enough and doesn’t need my hard earned money.

Its important to look successful and to just be professional and no matter what as a sales executive always build a friendship with future possible clients even if they bought a product from somewhere else offer support to win them over to you and never leave without giving them your business card. All sales is about friendship and a relationship. The amount of sales I use to do was incredible and anyone can learn to be a great sales executive

To whom much is given, much is required. Find joy and purpose in building His kingdom. And all these things will be added to you. For whoever is faithful will little will be faithful with much. Steward your work and resources with diligence and intentionality. Store up treasures in heaven where moths and rust do not destroy. Be blessed. Live like no one else. Sell like no one else.

such a simple concept. I loved my career. I had it all, money wasn't great. but I made enough and everyone looked up to me. everyone at work respected me, I was incharge, I had the perfect job. I messed up and lost my career. I went from that to washing dishes part time, and working a full time job where I no longer had any authority, some people liked me, but i lost that feeling of being the man. and I hated it. What I did? I figured out what I loved, I figured out what I wanted to do, and I figured out how to get there. I had to reinvent myself, which meant going to grad school and picking a major that would get me into a field I wanted to get into. I had to stay washing dishes while working full time to pay for grad school, but I did it. Now, I'm at a job I love. It shows in my work, I'm proud of what I do, and that confedience i need is back. but it took a lot of introspective thought, and 3 years of hard work, and going through interview after interview. but 3 years later, i have my dream job, and I'm moving up quickly bc I love the work and have the masters degree that is ideal for this field. you CAN NOT stay somewhere you hate

So this morning I send exactly the pest message you are warning about - long story short a recruiter approached me with a position, I've gone through the personal interview -> no response, i politely contacted her back (twice in 4 weeks) -> no response. This morning, after 9 months, she came back with the same position, almost the same wording - I just shortcircuited and politely sent her where she came from

I don’t recommend using dates in your email. Too much “negative” can be derived from a date plus it doesn’t look as professional
