How long does a 9v battery last in this device? Can it be adapted to utilize a power bank?
@LaurenHaunts2 ай бұрын
I typically use a rechargeable 9v. You may be able to adapt it to a power bank with a relay! But I think that might be a little too involved for this particular set up.
@greghampton46992 ай бұрын
@@LaurenHaunts I built 3 of these and ran them over night for at least 10 hours and they were still working in the morning. So good to go.

I tried to do it I got four the small wires popped off the speaker on all four idk what to do 😢
@LaurenHaunts2 ай бұрын
Oh no! You can solder them back in place if you’re able. You can also use an epoxy glue as long as you have a secure metal to wire contact to the speaker. (Just don’t do that for any other connections)
@summerjustice44284 ай бұрын
This is awesome. I made one like yours and then I got a stuffed animal that already lights up and used speaker antenna wire and it worked the same way. Although I couldn’t figure out how to connect the push button on/off switch to work but that’s ok. I also bought one for my son to hang on his handlebars to use as a bike alarm on his motorcycle. Thanks for the easy to follow instructions.

Hi, I have a question, i haven't build it yet but does it work with electronics for example: TV, phone or power socket?
@LaurenHaunts2 ай бұрын
Are you asking if it’s triggered by electrical appliances? Because yes! It can definitely be set off by appliances

Can you post a schematic drawing of the wiring? I am having a hard time seeing which wires connect to the LED in your video. Or just a simple drawing of “this wire goes here” would help if it was attached to the video in the notes. Thanks!
@LaurenHaunts7 ай бұрын
If you’re looking at the board itself (forget the where the wires connect to the speaker) attach hot on light, to bottom wire on pod and ground to top wire. 🫶
@daveman30268 ай бұрын
You can use the device as it is without modification to it. Having a pretty light may be handy as a visual que if you're recording video over a long period of time and reviewing it later but the antenna is not necessary. I replaced the tweeter with one that isn't so ear piercing.
@LaurenHaunts7 ай бұрын
The antenna and light are purely aesthetic, I agree. You can even strip the antenna halfway to gain a little more sensitivity. I use this build mostly to teach the similarities between this style of proximity sensor and its counterparts that are manufactured (and priced) for the paranormal community!

EMF meter does same thing right
@LaurenHaunts10 ай бұрын
Depends on what you’re using. If you’re talking about a K2, they will both trigger with the presence of emr, however a K2 has wildly different construction, so you won’t get the exact same results as this piece of equipment. If you’re using an actual emf reader, that typically gives you specific measurement readouts of the milligauss present. Depending on what you’re using each for; they all have their different applications
@LaurenHaunts10 ай бұрын
That’s a great question!

I really love your videos and ways of thinking. There are anecdotal reports from people who have touched apparitions that they feel cold and guess what? They also felt static-y. So, I think there is something to looking for static electricity. Can't wait for your static pods to be released!
