Since you seem to be the DIY flooring queen! Do you think there is any way to get painted marble floors to be shiny like real stone?! I love how your floors look, but I want something a little less matte for a bathroom! Lol! Can’t wait to see what project you do next!!

So glad you did not do the concrete grinder. I ground up tile glue on my basement floor on Christmas Day and there was concrete dust EVERYWHERE. AQ upstairs was upwards of 600 (Normal 0). Still cleaning concrete dust today.

Spray alcohol on it after you are finished, so when it dries it won't have any bubbles in it.

This is a reminder that before cutting into walls where you dont know the location of wires, TURN OFF YOUR POWER AT THE BREAKER PLEASE. This could have easily gone very very wrong and electrocuted this person. Looks great, stay safe!❤

I’ve been wanting to learn how to use power tools so badly because I hate having to wait on my husband’s help. This makes me think I can do it too. I’m just terrified of making big stupid mistakes or hurting myself lol.

I hear you!!!! After this project I finally feel so much more confident with the tools, and now I’m so excited for the future building possibilities. I used to be scared of saws - and to be clear I still have a healthy fear of them. There are so many amazing KZbin videos with safety tips for each tool, which helps so much. I don’t know what people did to learn before the internet 😜 if you’re scared to make a mistake, mess around with some scrap wood, and screw/glue/cut until you feel more confident ❤ I guarantee you that anything you’re not sure about KZbin has an answer for! I KZbind daily on this project 😜

What paint do you use I’d like to paint my back splash of my kitchen I’d like to use a gold color and white but I’m worried as soon as tomatoes 🍅 sauce splash on it and I clean it it will rub off
