Thanks, now my clips are cut and I have to re-edit. :) (No, I'm not that stupid - it just doesn't work that way)

If is not working for you, I'll help you why: READ "delete gaps" is not working if you stack many files in channel 1 2 or 3, "delete gaps" is working only on empty space. As you see in video 5 files are alone, Upper and down channels are empty.

How do you do this if the clips aren't from the same parent source .
@fletcherbrown7283 ай бұрын
Excellent and detailed as usual. This one, however was a little over my head. I would have loved to see a practical example using a Mac - DaVinci Resolve. Here is what I think you would recommend? SSD 1: The internal SSD in my Mac for OS and DaVinci Applications. Keep the internal drive to about 50% capacity. SSD 2: An external SSD to keep the DaVinci Database (Library) and related projects. SSD 3: An external SSD the has the assets that will be used to build and edit the DaVinci Projects. This drive is the master for the video, photos, music, audios, sound effects and miscellaneous resources. SSD 4: An external SSD that will be used to mirror the SSD 2 that is the DaVinci Database (library) and the Projects. Where would you recommend, in DaVinci Settings, setting the location for cache files, proxies, saves and backups?

Can you do a tutorial on complete mouseless editing for the edit page.. including window navigation..
@1ialstudio2 ай бұрын
That is going to be a challenge for sure because I've encountered functions that do not work unless you own a Black Magic Design Mini Panel or a mouse. So, I'll look into this for sure but I can't promise anything yet. Good question because I love shortcut keys...for everything...not just Resolve.

Wowe, very informative . Cn i ask how you record screen and export for youtube ? its so sharp and crisp.. BItrate ? or any tips/tricks ?
@1ialstudio2 ай бұрын
I get asked that often enough that I'm going to make a full workflow on how I make my tutorials so everyone can make them with the same production quality. To answer your question. I use Camtasia. Record 4K. When I export, I render mov files at 80-100mbps. I don't use NVENC...instead I render with CPU. The rest of the settings I leave alone...rather, the quality difference is neglible that it's not worth tweaking anything.
