I think you are the one person with this track who has made a video. I just ordered one coincidentally for the same reason that you mentioned. The Mini-96 has more turns, but its too narrow to race on with more than one car. How come the tiles look sort of shiny? cool video. You could put two of those together and make a nice track.

Had the same thing happen to me. Locked up on the elevator on a turn. I kept pulling back on the elevator stick with no response. When it did kick in, I was at max up elevator, and she tip stalled right into the ground. Lost her in the tall grass and never found her.

Very neat rudders! Did you just cut halfway through the foam or did you use hinges? Not familiar with the EPO material.

Nice. Go witb a 1800 to 2200 MAH battery. Should be able to get 3 to 4 minutes. I have a K8 and T7a running similar 6s setup 👍 that freewing inrunner is awesome. Heavy buu gave me 20 more MPH over stock 6s setup. I also run a 60amp esc, it hits about 55amp at full throttle

It was flying beautifully. Was it 8s? Did you have tailerons set up ?
@IntegrityRC Жыл бұрын
Yes, 8S with a Schubeler fan. Yes it had tailerons but they were not active at the time. Mostly use those for slow flying in high alpha or landing, etc. Also upgraded to hitec servos. I've gone through a few fuses now to know. This was a mechanical failure of the elevator shafts mounting location from flying aggressive on elevator with 8S. Things like going vertical and hard pulling elevator to simulate a TV flip maneuver or pulling high Gs in a bank turn. Eventually the foam around the mounting shaft fatigues and you can see it wrinkle the foam and move more. On frames since this crash I have cut a diagonal line across the elevator rod on the bottom of the fuse and inserted a piece of flat carbon rod to reinforce the foam back there. So far I am not seeing the fatigue markers and haven't had a failure yet. But quite honestly the rest of the model is so beat up now it's almost time for yet another one. But either way, this elevator fatigue usually takes a lot of flights to become a problem even without reinforcement. But for people who want to do the TV type maneuvers and hard pull their bank turns or when coming over the top on vertical. Not a bad idea to reinforce it at some point, imo.

My canopy flew off even tho seemingly well engaged with magnet - yours ok?
@IntegrityRC Жыл бұрын
Never had any issue with any of my older magnetic canopies. But I always make sure the magnets are literally touching each other or something. Sometimes there can be a hair gap between and they just don't hold as well. When that happens I either make adjustments to move the magnets on the canopy or simply glue a piece of metal between so that the magnets make sold contact. My new ADXL has scrapped the magnets completely, in favor of a single hatch pin in the rear. So adding one of those to the rear is also something you could do. But if you can get those magnets to touch, it should hold fine.
@randallpatrickc Жыл бұрын
@@IntegrityRC that’s a good idea - bit of metal
@IntegrityRC Жыл бұрын
@randallpatrickc Yeah, might surprise you and still close tight even with metal in between. That's how you'll know if there really was a gap or not. Otherwise the metal would cause a gap between the canopy and fuse.

Ciao ho comprato adesso l' f18 ,puoi dirmi perché il tuo modello e' caduto ? Puoi darmi dei consigli? Ciao grazie
@IntegrityRC Жыл бұрын
Divertiti!

Are you pushing ele on that rolling circle?
@IntegrityRC Жыл бұрын
I don't know. I have the CG and everything setup so it's pretty neutral upright or inverted. So I might pull some elevator at times. But I think it generally just needs the rudder to keep the nose up.
@RedFuryIII Жыл бұрын
Mind if I ask what servos you used?
@IntegrityRC Жыл бұрын
9g freewing servos. I think they are both the reversed ones with white,red,black wires(instead orange, brown). That is how they work okay with the steering.
