Fruit Juices Although fruit juices may seem healthy, they are often high in sugar and lack the fiber found in whole fruits. The lack of fiber means that the sugar is absorbed more quickly, leading to a spike in blood sugar and insulin levels. 4. Processed Meats (e.g., Sausages, Bacon) - Processed meats are often high in unhealthy fats, sodium, and preservatives, which can increase inflammation in the body. For those with PCOS, managing inflammation is crucial, as it can exacerbate symptoms like acne and weight gain. 5. Pastries and Doughnuts Pastries and doughnuts are loaded with refined sugar, unhealthy fats, and refined flour.
