Hi, I have an English setter named Gulliver. He was diagnosed with this after a field injury. He was diagnosed with carpal hyperextension and needed the surgery where they put in. essentially fusing the joint and pinning to two of the toes. it was expensive with lots of follow up and a low rate of success. And, he would have no movement in the joint. Because it wasn't time sensitive I bought a good splint (as per vet recommendation) and when we went on walks for the first bit we used that. The problem with the splint is that it will cause swelling if too tight and it doesn't allow for healing; so, we did take if off after talking with another vet. We kept activity to a minimum but did go on walks; just no stairs no jumping up and definitely down and crated in a very large crate. we did walk twice / day and increased activity. He now has 95% mobility and the joint is larger (arthritic) but it has to be pointed out to notice. I took him for another examination 6 months later and the vet had no issues clearing him for hunting dutty. I can post some video of him working hungarian partridge later but he still outperforms my 5 and 2 year old setter again. My wife had a hamstring injury and her fix was physio so we took the same approach and had, in my opinion, much better success than the prescribed surgery. However, this took lots of due diligence and work.

I can honestly say I'd give my life for my dog. I got a German shepherd after a break in for a guard dog. Now if someone broke in I'd lock her in a safe place and go deal with it lol 🤣 Couldn't bear for her to get hurt. People who think, it's just a dog, your really missing out on one of life most beautiful relationships.

My girl is there right now and I hope she is getting the love there that she gives out. She has so much love in her and I hope they let her have cuddles with them

Noel is God sent angel and we have witnessed for years besides his expertise treatment he gives and receives love from animals and that love is part of treatment.animals are God's creatures and have feelings like humans.i am one of the animal lovers and have rescued kittens some are weak old abandoned in plastic begs.i have one blind and one paraliezed cat now 2 months old.wheni walk in the streets if I see animals suffering I pick them up and bring home use herbal medicine to treat them.the first one I rescued is 13 years old thanks God

Please Noel...just hear me out..(and there will be alot of resistance in the comments)...a certain famous phenom has just had a one vehicle collision and from what I gather had extensive injury to his leg and spent hours in surgery... im not clear of the specifics...but I thought of you immediately! This man is world famous for his ability to dominate this sport and im not certain if he went to the Olympics,or even if the sport he dominates ...IS even an Olympic event...all I know is this is you you can at least consider further investigation...if you see any potential within its entirety.
