I saw Journey in April 2024 for the 1st time since 1983 and I wish Dean was singing all of the songs. Poor Arnel, what voice he may have had is gone now. Neil, either let Dean sing or go back to the Internet and find new talent, PLEASE❣️

I´m a Drummer, and Deen was always one of my North. Since those all times where I used to see the HighPerformance Drumming VHS, Cacophony and Marty´s Friedman albums. And he also Sing like a fucking damm pro singer. Good bless you Deen !!!!!!

Deen and Soto are so tight together vocally. One can only imagine the direction of Journey if Soto stayed for an album or 2. He’s great here

Indudablemente Arnel Pineda es muy buen cantante y posee excelente técnica vocal pero sus interpretaciones no logran erizarme y moverme el alma como lo hace Steve Perry con su hermosísima voz y sus interpretaciones impecables y llenas de sentimiento. De todas formas vale destacar de Arnel que logró mantener vivo a Journey con su magnífico trabajo. Un aplauso para él.

I'm floored actually. I just watched that 50-year tribute set that Gregg Rolie did with the guys and I noticed (through grainy video) that Arnel was not singing the high accent parts (to Feeling That Way and Anytime, etc) and it sounded like Steve but it looked like the drummer was doing it. So I searched and sure enough, homie got pipes! And not just "I used to sing lead in garage bands but now I drum for Journey" type pipes, but rather "I can knock out a couple dead on Steve Perry tunes" type. Kudos!!!
