Short version, most of the game you can save time going counter clockwise. If you're farming a specific area, best to watch that segment again as needed

I've been finding so many HR's and GG unique in terror zones all my non-ladder characters are GG. I've played D2 since release but now that I'm older I feel like I just play casually. That doesn't mean I can't still build a GG character. I just don't restart every new ladder now...

I don't understand. If you rush to the exit you can't complete the map, and if the map isn't complete you can't leave. In all seriousness i think i learned these rules in reverse to minimize back tracking while 100 percent exploring. Thanks ocd

I don't know if it's just me, but I feel like with arcane sanctuary, the summoner has a higher chance of being in the direction where the portals are. So I usually just look for those then tele my way to him. It really does seem to work out that way more often then not.

D4 is just D3 with paint. They had a chance for D4 to do well if they followed D2. D5 better be runewords, and similar loot to D2 or this franchise is dead to me. Also this left click shit to use a generator is garbage and needs to go.

Is being a streamer and a youtuber part of your luck? I cannot understand how you streamers are doing this? I have been playing this game for 20 years. I know everything about it. I have made probably more than 1500 runs of the whole game - everything you can think of. And i have never had a JAH drop. Not to mention the other things you find - I had only a few of them. All of a sudden a random guy comes from nowhere, decides to make a movie with 50 runs and gets super sick drops??? Wtf??? How??? I have tried different value of MF, different "players" options and different chars and EVEN the wraith's ritual... and still same s**t... How is this possible???? You are either lying to us or you are extremely lucky, and I believe it's the first

In the old days we told people to follow the map from an entrance location, clockwise, and it will almost always lead you to the next area, getting less likely in NM and more so in hell. Its the same strategy, except your description is from the perspective of the characters movement, instead of the movement of a clock. Basically, what ever your direction your character is facing when you enter a new area, that direction is either 12/3/6/9 on a clock face, if you are facing north with your characters back to you, the exit will likely be at the 3 oclock area on the map.

In all my decades of playing, I've never needed or used any maphacks or 3rd party aspects... Always enjoy climbing that ladder, running & raiding bots, crunching runes, and finding the way from the start. I've noticed some patterns, but never put much more thought into it than "I think we go this way..." Also, I start Trap sin as 1 lvl in bos allows me to run past most enemies. Class leveled gear keeps the balance for later levels... hell & ubers require specific gear. Lol.

D5 needs to be more like D2. Just copy/paste the itemization and RNG from D2 with epic graphics and better uniques and sets compared to the runewords (we all want them, let’s be real. Nothing beats your first Enigma). Make sure to have an easy trade system, like the runes in D2, but make the value traceable with graphs in the lobby. Then do a cool skill tree that enables both slim, specialized builds viable in both PvP and PvM, and more less specialized builds that are viable in end game PvM. Make the game foremost for PvP (in secret, don’t tell anyone. Not even Cooley or MrLlamaSC).

Tamoe Highlands never spawns on the southeast or southwest because it connects to the monastery, and since Diablo 2 is a 3/4 overhead view, the entrance to the monastery MUST be on either Northeast or Northwest to look right.
