Good God, software engineers were a different breed in the 90s. I see this in so many places.

This have nothing to do with your video. These Twinkle Toe bastard Federal fairies keep messing with my stuff. I'm trying to log into my Pizza Hut account none of my password work so I did forgot my password they sent me a email to my account and I put a new password in when I try to log in it said incorrect password or email. They would do things like this trying to shake me up but none of this BS will work it doesn't matter to me but I must tell someone what's going on. I bought a relay switch from Amazon it was bad they sent me a replacement it was bad for my refrigerator. My refrigerator is putting mold on my fresh food now the government is doing this but this will not shake me. I know these bastard from iuic, gocc and the rest of them trying to get a sacrifice off me it would not work this month nor this year. 05-04-24

If you are more “engineer” than “software” - you will be OK. It’s all about how much complexity your brain can tackle at once - and that requires decades of training. I did some bare metal assembly for intel x64 and I can tell you that chatGPT did all code just wrong in NASM (I was doing it for the fun).

Anyone know how to regain access to the OpnSense GUI once we get through the last step 9 Apply Changes? LAN/WAN interface configurations are set to none in this step. After Apply Changes in step 9, the ProtectLi Vault PC boots with a Bridge IP address 172.19.X.X , and both LAN/WAN have no associated IP addresses.

Many are asking the same question. I'm assuming you have only 2 network ports. ?.? He inadvertently neglected to mention (in the video) that if you have only 2 physical ports, that you should configure the "LAN" port as static (NOT set to "none" as he said in the video). He did add the following note in the video description to clarify: "If you do not have a management interface (third port), don't set the LAN interface IP4 config to None - set a static IP for it so you can still reach it later. Sorry for this oversight!" So you may have to reinstall and configure with that additional info.

What you describe, a software that allows the switch from one computer to the other when the cursor hits the edge of the screen, exists, and its called Flow, made by Logitech. I can confirm it works if you have the wireless mechanical keyboard and MX Mouse from Logitech, and as a programmer, this thing's a godsend.

Dont worry internet providers are nowadays blocking traffic by device types so you have to spoof a mac for travel rputers to work (especially on plans that have an arbitrary device limit because they assume the end user is stupid)

Hello Dave and a very good day to you. I was wondering if I could get your help with a question that seems to allude answering. I have optimum cable service with 400mb/s service and a telephone line connection on the modem that looks like an old telephone connection from the 80's. I have a separate modem and Wi-Fi router and I want to find a combo Wi-Fi router modem that includes telephone connection so I can use it with Optimum cable service (not fiber optic) All the info I can find on the internet seems to indicate the telephone connection is a VoIP. But the connection looks like an old 70's - 80's telephone connection. Is there an excellent quality modem router combo that includes such a connection for telephone? Or is Optimum trying to hide the fact that it is in fact a voIP connection with some type of convertor and confuse consumers into sticking with their modems? Want to get rid of the monthly rental fees and buy a combo WI-FI router modem. I do of course realize you are quite busy so I respect that you may not answer but hoping you will. I can't believe I have phrased this question 50 different ways and get the same results with no direct answer. Anyway, thank you for your contributions to the internet and youtube community and I am quite sure you have forgotten more than I will ever know in my lifetime, lol. Cheers Dave and best regards.

I didn't find the test. The title doesn't match the video content. When something is called 'Test in 10 secs' of course ppl's motivation is to find that test. I didn't find it, been watching like 5 minutes skipping here and there. Just saying.

SSH (OpenSSH) is not part of the Linux kernel. It is it's own project. It is as widely used on BSD type systems. It runs as a process on top of the kernel like Apache Httpd or Postfix (sshd).

Or maybe more to the point: calling this a linux backdoor is at best misguiding. Unless you are looking for a clickbait headline? If the .NET runtime has a an exploit - it is also not a fault in the windows kernel.

You can get most of the same functionality using the built in wi-fi hotspot setting on a modern Windows computer. Even Android phones can do it, if the service provider allows.

It's absolutely clear that there's going to be a much harder and more demanding future for the guys in the job market who have just graduated or are soon to be graduated in recent times. I want to be optimistic but innately knowing human nature and its dark tendencies, I believe we will face huge rebellions and riots across all industries. We don't only have AI threat which will most likely replace our jobs, but also many deeply rooted underlying societal issues. A large-scale war, another deadly epidemic which will dramatically lower the entire population or something different is on the fench. Birthrates are already at an all-time low. Gen Z's purchasing power is 86% less than 2 previous generations. I don't even count the other underdeveloped or currently developing countries. They are much much worse certainly. There's never going to be a safe and predictable future ever, so thus we will need extraordinary luck for ourselves.
