Hello and Welcome to our home on KZbin.
Cherokee Copper is our family business. We are a family of award-winning Cherokee artists who make jewelry that is inspired by the art, stories, and culture of the Cherokee people.

Greg is our lead designer and he is a self-trained coppersmith
Lisa manages all the aspects of the business
Moriah has been creating art since she could hold a paintbrush --so about 20 years. She won her first professional artist award at the age of 19.
Katie is a full-time student in college and lends her insight and ideas to all of us.
Joshua started learning coppersmithing at age 10 and now at 16 has been making all of the earrings for almost 2 years.

We make Modern Native American Jewelry that is Rooted in Tradition in our home studio located in North East Oklahoma.

@@cherokeecopper8452 pain in the butt to find any music on spotify that ain't heavily stereotyped hippie crap or Dine or Apache. The latter being awesome of course but so far only ancestors I can honor are my Celt and Germanic ancestors. Latter only because of games like Assassin's Creed Vallhalla or God of War.... so still a lot of stereotypes...

Osiyo! I am so excited I found this. I heard this story many decades ago from my father. He was told the story as a child growing up on a reservation in Oklahoma in 1906. Beautiful story that brings tears of joy, respect and memories to mind. Wado.

I love your stories!! I work with frail elderly & terminally ill & alzhiemer patients. They are just the perfect length to hold their attention & they love the pictures. I also use it with my little grandson. The stories have great lessons & we also talk all the different kinds of animals. Such a refreshing change to find you & your stories in this crazy world.
