Even if you stay on the north side, you can still go early-nothing is stopping you. Like it or not, the dedicated women’s sections are on the north side. So, it’s easier for families to stay on that side to ensure the women in the family don’t have to walk far to reach their sections.

Update your nusuk apps if the apps are old apps... Then you must on location on your phone and must near to Masjid Nabawi and by luck you try open and close your rawdah to see if it available every 20minute... Reminder; you must know what time rawdah for men and women and when rawdah is open then you can estimate when instant track available... It only open for a second so you need to be quick...

Sorry to hear that. I got Rawdah slots on 16 and 17 January. It worked me but I know many people, for whom it didn’t. I can only suggest that keep trying at different times of the day. Also, try when you are closer to the Rawdah.

I don’t know for sure, to be honest. But both my wife and I found available slots when we were close to door no. 37. The authorities say it doesn’t matter where you are in the masjid as long as you are in Masjid Al Nabawi.

I agree. They now stopped showing the gate number on the app. I was there yesterday. The gate number was 38 (it can sometimes be 37)

Instant track can only be used when you are in Madinah

Try the “instant track” when you are inside the Masjid. I got the permit using this new option. I have discussed this in episode 39. Try at various times of the day. Depending on your gender, your timings will be different.

A local sim is not necessarily needed to book but you will need internet access while in the masjid in order to use Instant Track. So, if you do not have a local sim or an eSIM, you may then have to use your roaming data.

Walaikum Salam, There’s a difference of opinion about whether 2 rakat nafl is linked with the intention of Ihram. I follow the position that they are not linked. If you follow the position that 2 rakat nafl should be prayed whenever you make intention of Ihram then please seek further details from the scholars you trust.

If you arrive in Jeddah with the plan to go to Makkah and perform the Umrah, you must be in Ihram before landing. Once you reach Makkah, you can take some time to rest and freshen up, but you must remain in Ihram and maintain the rules of Ihram.

@LifeMoves but what about mehram it does say you can rest upon arrival and perform umrah at anytime my sisters will be coming with the only reason they're doing umrah because they need a male family member with them so I'm there brother so it says once you arrive straight away you can rest and there's nothing wrong with that and perform umrah anytime whilst you're in mecca

I have to clarify some terminology to answer this question. The area between the grave and the minbar is what the Arabs call Rawdah and the South Asians call Riaz ul Jannah. The grave is what the Arabs call Qabr and the South Asians call Roza. I had to clarify that because Rawdah and Roza sounds similar and causes confusion. This permit is needed to visit the blessed area between the grave of the Prophet SAW and the minbar.

Walaikum Salam brother Ibad, Do you mean to pray inside the Rawdah? Or generally in Masjid Al Nabawi? Normally, you can get space somewhere in Masjid Al Nabawi whenever you come. But for Jumuah, I would recommend coming at least 2.5 hours before Jumuah prayer on Friday for the reward and to avoid sitting in the sun outside.

Salaam. By update, do you mean the update the app itself? Or the availability of the slots through Instant Track? For the instant slots, you must be in Masjid Al Nabawi.

Can you see the instant track option on your app? If so, you have the updated version. You just need to keep trying. Try at different times of the day and night. Your slots will be different depending on your gender.

Walaikum Salam, If there are new slots available (there may not be) then they are added every 20 minutes. If there are none available, you will not see any difference after 20 minutes. To refresh, you simply go out of and back in to the Rawdah section of the app.

There’s an amount of luck (we will say Qadr) involved I guess. It worked for me and my wife

Not necessarily. It should work anywhere in Masjid Al Nabawi, but it worked for me close to the Rawdah. So, there’s no harm in trying the same.

Yes, you can click on your initial on the top right corner and scroll down to log out. The same phone can then be used to log in to a different account. She must have her own account. If you are with her, you can have sit her on a wheelchair and push her in. You will not need a permit for yourself.

Walaikum Salam brother, hope it works for you. However, please remember the outcome may vary depending on the season and the time of the day. Also, it works best for one or two able-bodied adults. I would not recommend this for families with children and elderly, as the delay may not be worth the monetary savings.

Once you finish your Tawaf, you will pray 2 rakat behind Maqam Ibrahim before going for Sa’ee.

Yes, there are money exchange shops in Madinah and Makkah both. In Makkah, there is money exchange in Safwa tower (as I showed in the video) and also in the ground floor of the clock tower. Clock tower is the tallest building. Just go in and ask a guard or a shopkeeper or any other worker. They will show you.

You don’t necessarily need to carry empty bottles to Saudi just for collecting water to drink here. Most hotels provide normal water bottles in the rooms. Just empty those bottles and use them. After Tawaf or at Safa Marwa, you can drink using the plastic cups provided there. Later, you can use your bottles to collect Zamzam in the masjid.

Yes, you can fill empty bottles for drinking during your stay in Makkah.

Not to the Rawdah. They can just give Salam without the app. Nobody can pray inside the Rawdah without the app.
