I had to look this up, and, yes it is! Warms my heart to see the game appreciated again in some official capacity, even if it's just a cameo. :D Most certainly it relates to the fact that Eighting (the studio that developed the Kururin games) were involved in the development of Pikmin 4, and handled Pikmin 3 Deluxe previously.
