I think I just hook up to these Coremax Valves with my regular low loss hoses (quick seal type not Ball valve type) I had not realized till I tried to put a Flare Swivel Tee on one that its a challenge. But when you add a HP or LP switch on a tee at the service port, as HughesMan HVAC says, keep the Coremax valve stem straight when hooking up the tee, and I would also say exercise the valve prior to putting on the tee. Another Great Video By HVAC/R

I have the 550s. My issue is that I put my gauges on the evacuation setting and set my targets but no microns are shown on the top right when pulling a vacuum. I placed my navac micron gauge on a port to see if the vacuum is dropping and it does just dosnt want to show on my graph screen. Do I need to have a testo micron gauge connected to my 550s in order for the countdown to begin on my manifold?

I need to find a company that’s willing patent some ideas for new tools….without wanting to know full description in text of the idea…that screams fraud…I would like to talk with someone that can and will keep things confidential until after the purchase of said ideas ….

Why would you confuse us by doing a review without reading the manual. All you did was discourage me and likely others from buying it when in fact the it does much more. A disservice in my eyes. As a follower I expected more from you. Maybe consider doing a review after you read the manual to show the true strength of the unit. Thanks for all you do for the industry. 👍

I was a HVAC Tech for over 20 years and I carried a Leatherman Wave for a good bit of that time. I used it a lot for mounti g thernostats. The saw was great fir cutting inti sheetrock, the old style had a knotch at the wire cutters that was perfect for striping t'stat wire and it had the perfect t'stat screwdriver. I am now in sales and carry the smaller SOG Powerpint. I lost my Leatherman and miss thet tool!

I started with a single large Tech-Pac back in 2021 but quickly figured out it was too heavy to lug around. Last Christmas hit a sale at a local veto dealer and got the MC-LT and MCT for half list price. I use the MC-LT as a diagnostic bag because it carries my iPad, the MCT I haven't found a use for but probably end up putting some specialized tools into. And hoping to snag the XL WHEELER when it comes out, not sure what for, but can't have enough veto bags. :)

I bought the same Fenyx as well and am sadly not as pleased with it as the Thrunite I got in 2014. As for Leathermans the Wave, Charge, and surge are super popular for easy open knives, and extra tools. I just carry a Rebar and a separate knife since I only use specific tools on it and the softer knife steels on the Rebar and Wave are a pain. Hope you do more reviews, I saw you got a pair of those Knipex plier wrenches and am curious if those are any good.

You can’t use the removal tool for evacuation tho like on standard core removal tools, correct? I purchased one for a big compressor change out job and there’s no way to connect my vacuum hose to the tool once the core was removed. Back to depressors, I guess.
