Thank you so much. This was exactly what I was looking for. I had a range of the number of products sold in a year and I had to calculate a list of how many items of said product were sold in which year. SUMIF was not enough but SUMIFS did the trick

For those wishing to extrapolate data from the trend-line, displaying the Equation on Chart gives you the two important values to do this; the Exponent and the Coefficient written as y = coefficient x ^ exponent. It might not look like an equation at first sight(they could've formatted it better), but the 'y' and 'x' values are part of the equation. You can then create your own excel formula "y = coefficient * x ^ exponent". Keep in mind, that this only works if your data is good (high r-squared value - close to 1).
