They then filmed the majority of the show in my home town of Santa Clarita! We were so proud.

I have an original dukes of Hazzard script. It’s the first draft of season 3 episode 5 and I have original phones of the nurse in this episode. It is not a reprint, it’s original. I posted it on eBay and there is a link in the description if anyone is interested

I was 12 years old in 1981 and a huge fan of dukes of Hazzard. Watched the show every week, ever since it first aired. I remember this commercial quite well. Unfortunately, we were dirt poor. We could hardly afford groceries. Hunger was a constant companion. So just forget about buying new toys. I would have loved to own this, among other racing sets. Oh, I had a toy collection. But that was made up of mismatched odds and ends, bits and pieces, that were handed down to me by friends or found in the streets somewhere. TV commercials for toys like this one served only to torture me.
