Absolutely fascinating. So good to be vindicated so many years after being publicly mocked for suggesting plants have 'consciousness'. Sorry if this has been asked before, but is the plant communication species specific? i.e. Do Quercus sp. have a common 'language', and by extension does communication within a species or even genus 'flow' easier than between say an Acacia sp. and a Pinus sp. ? Furthermore have you detected dialects and possibly deceit? We know that there are trees which are interested in the demise of competing trees like those in some rain forests hosting ants that sting neighbouring plants (of different species) to death. It would seem logical if such cross species animus exists one species may 'lie' to another species about pending threat or other critical information.

I think beyond the tones of the space age music, they have captured a reality that biologists have discovered about the plant life that has existed on our planet for a longer time than mankind.

What is the material of the root, and what is the flow?
@thijsbiersteker38103 жыл бұрын
Its recycled PET , like your soda bottles and the flow is the motion between the two root structures..

There is a beautiful new book on the work by painter Bob Nugent who with brilliant abstract paintings illustrates the destruction of the Amazon rain forest from deforestation, fires and climate change. Nugent travels to Brazil each year to continue what has become a life-long mission of depicting this world and its transformation before our very eyes. The book is titled "Sentido" which in Portuguese means experiencing things with all one’s senses. www.fineartspress.com
