Hey Matt could you do a video of GT1 regional event glitches? I talked this about in comments in a another video (TeaKanji Ultimate Guide) in some events if fps drops ai opponent cars turn into "shaky" and "wobbly". Their car really struggles to pick up speed and rpm vibrates.

It's crazy that people are still finding these kinds of glitches 2 decades later, the GTA fandom is one dedicated community for sure.

i always wonder what if gta3 was made in this era how would it have looked like. i am not talking about the graphics, but it would be closer to how the devs have actually imagined it. with all the ideas they had, and others they had to remove or weren't able to implement.

My theory with the kids prize is that it was put in place there for little kids who were still learning the game and how racing works and wanted to give them something so as not to completely turn them off. Feels less like an easter egg and more perhaps an "Attaboy" to little kids.

I wish I could live in the present and care about present day stuff instead of obsessing about this 23 year old game, but alas I cannot, this was awesome (I had seen that other video but I was confused how he got the RC bandit)

I thought you would use a mod to basically add in helicopters and oh crap but you actually somehow managed to show me that somehow the base game is sometimes a lot crazier than the mods

The peds and traffic are bound to the RC Bandit so they will stop spawning when far enough from it. You can even see them spawn & despawn right in front of you at a certain distance from the RC Bandit. Also even objects like lamp posts lose their collision

i've said this many times over the years and i'll say it again: it's insane to me how we're STILL discovering new things about these games!

Might be possible to use the Rampage duping glitches to generate an infinite timer during the mission, if such a glitch even exists in the first place, and then afterwards painstakingly push the Helicopter all the way to the garage. I'm unsure if anyone even attempted that or even found an infinite timer glitch. Such annoying task would be a royal waste of time, considering the game would crash by opening the garage doors with the thing saved, akin to the Ghost or any saved boats. Though, emulators might solve this problem, especially AetherSX2, but am unsure about PCSX2. Check the channel in Melancholia's Helicopter video description and refer to the first uploaded video. The person managed to save the Police Helicopter in the garage using lucky RNG trick shots and closing the garage door at the perfect frame, albeit with save states to ease the pain. By the way, there's another RC Bandit hidden within the game. During Gone Fishing, the RC Bandit is spawned in the ocean as the scripted target for Ray's partner to throw a grenade at it. There's an informative video about it on KZbin if you're curious. Another fun fact, Catalina's Helicopter is scripted to be all-proof. Exclusively on PC, there's a complex glitch involving replays to transfer the helicopter's properties to any vehicle and turn it all-proof, though it involves luck to pull off properly.

By the way on the mission 'I Scream You Scream', if you dont kill the mafia men by blowing up the.ice cream van, you can then take it to the Import Export garage. On the mission 'Trial By Fire' if you kill the large group of triads on the basketball court, you get a cash bonus.
