Unfortunately, some churches and some doctrines are so toxic that it’s actually more likely to find better people in the world than in those environments. That certainly happened to me in my youth until I found my own personal relationship with Jesus through the Holy Spirit. I understand why none of us are good people, in or out of church, but we can find goodness in God.

Actually you are born to die, but this is hard to hear so its easier for people to hear that they are sinners Without understanding what it means. Your physical life span is 75years but your soul's term is eternity. Enjoy your sinful death over 75years live a full hedonistic lifestyle and live no more or die to Christ and have 75years of life love peace and eternity combined. What a choice. Peace be with you.

Overall I am quite happy with my form of Christian belief. It draws people who desire a very Active Christian lifestyle of ministry. This is good. Our family has a life full of Christ. That said even for my family we have turmoil in our walk of faith. We have been in Congregations that really where what we think all Christian congregations should be , loving proactive spiritual family. But years ago I made the mistake of buying land and a home in a lovely area within which was a Congregation that has just about none of that spirit. This is due to the multigenerational single extended family that has become the sole inheritors of Congregational leadership . They have lived here for generations and as such they have a tendency to fossilize the local congregation and to marginalize ( unintentionally) anyone who isn’t raised in and approved by the family. As such for 25 years my own family was spiritually neglected . This was my own fault. I now know full well my mistake. I should have never moved here and if not for the fact that my estate is nearly payed off anyway and my children are already grown and the damage is done I should have just by now sold off the estate and moved to an area in which the Congregation is not so subject to legacy.

Raised Christian and going to church doesn’t make you a Christian anymore than going to McDonalds makes you a hamburger. There are many people that go to church that are not saved. We are supposed to love and show love. If you’re born of Christ you will radiate that. If not, you were one of the seeds that fell on shallow soil or were taken over by the weeds

It's true that many people have had a twisted picture of God's character shown to them by ostensibly Christian communities, but let's not forget that some will reject God even (or especially?) when presented with the a genuine picture of who God is. Ultimately God's love gives us the privilege to choose. I'm not sure if we should beat down people who chose a different path, or try to justify to our selves how right our faith is by critiquing them. It's better to just focus on Christ and who he is and on presenting a picture of Him to the world. We should be willing to journey in our lives with people regardless of whether they choose God or not... people hate being treated like projects to be worked on, and believe me, they notice. It is by our love that the world will recognise whose we are.

I truly feel that those that fall away, who were born in a Christian environment do so because the Christian environment that they were brought up in failed them. Those that were meant to teach and enhance their Christian experience and bring them closer to a personal relationship with Jesus has failed them.

I certainly hope so, my own daughter, once the most spiritually proactive member of our family , left bout faith and became a None after suffering a traumatic marriage / divorce experience. Somehow she got it all twisted and blamed everyone close to her for not seeing what was happening even though most of us lived many states away. Then during her separation period she fell prey to a vile feminist relative who poisoned her at just the wrong time. But I’m still hopeful she will figure it out eventually or that God will in His infinite mercy give her grace despite her current choices.

you need to believe that he has die for your sin and he is alive right now .what good is it to go to church if you don't even believe that he is rea!? I was a wiccan before (until he shows up in a dream and gave me a list of parables and he promise me that i was welcome in heaven 😯🥰 that I'm 1 of his loss sheep he said i was in water and i grab on to him the water was wierd something a wierd force try to take me and others under the water ! , he said i did not know any better .that i can choose to be risen or to witness the dead rising !? and it then he said i could choose to go directly to heaven if i wanted to follow him. Then i try to search for a door he said your time has not come yet and that i be care for i promise? i been trough a lot ) How reassuring i got hug too by a bright golden light before i woke up. it was warmer than a parent love! This is GOD 100% JESUS IS GOD .ps i did saw the others part of "hell" i was not harm and the guards are impressive ... it for people that will 100% reject him/hate him .i dont know if their other condition to enter there but i don't want to. so, bye bye pagan false deity aka fallen angels/liars. i don't go to church but watch regularly online mass (i really like Mar Mari ,he really sweet ,i do like the spicy sam shamoun too and christian prince 🤗 ) .i live in Canada Quebec church here are just too gone ,i may or may not visit .i contact them many times but they never follow up . what i want to know if is our father /Jesus does hear me when i speak to him in my head and when i pray in silence? I don't want it to be Awkard that he thinks i never spoke to him, i do regularly just not out loud...For what i mention in my dream it must have some kind of passage or multiple in the bible ?I did not tell him anything and he knows i went through abuse /abortion and everything else i did ...is it because he saw me, or it because he has read my heart? Both!? That so, i have no words HE IS REAL ! 🤷🏼♀🙏🏼✝

God definitely hears when we pray silently. He knows our thoughts and our hearts (Hebrews 4:12, Proverbs 15:26), and even when we can't find the words to express our prayers, God hears and understands (Romans 8:26). Thank you for your testimony.

How could i leave Christianity. Since i know: ........ 1) Jesus is real, and he is the righteous God. 2) my Christianity doesn't depend on me feeling "happy feelings". God doesn't need to serve ME for me to revere him, to adore him, to know he is good. I am his servant.. he's not mine. I like your point near to the end especially, which is that these "ex-Christians" left the "Christian" religion, and likely did not depart from a relationship with Christ (because they never had that relationship to begin with). It is far more rare for a true believer to depart from the faith altogether. There is a difference between faith and works, a difference between reconciliation and religion. Though only one of those saves one's own soul, both are important; with works being used to save other's souls. But if someone is not reconciled to God, then the works they do are meaningless. It's not as bad as a Christian doing works and producing chaff or stubble (1 Corinthians 3:11-15), but much worse: the works of an unbeliever produce corrupt fruit, such as tares (Matthew 13:38) and false gifts (Proverbs 25:14, Jude 1:10-12). It is only once someone believes in Christ and thus is made a saint, that God elects them to do the work of a Christian. A Christian is a saint who is "a vessel unto honour", "meet for the master's use" (2 Timothy 2:18-21). Sadly, the religion of Christianity contains many who have not learned, nor been assured of holy scripture, thus have not been made wise unto salvation. An intimate knowledge and critical understanding of scripture eschews doubt, and builds a foundation of faith. A weak and uncertain foundation leads to a shipwreck of the faith, which leads astray more than just the apostate; Others also go down with the ship. 1st Timothy 1:19 Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck: 2nd Timothy 3:14-15 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

Many churches feel that 2020 was a terrible thing for Christianity as they lost 25% or more of their members who never returned. But in reality 2020 did nothing to Christianity. In many ways, 2020 has been a blessing to all. Many people woke up and realized they had been focusing on Religion rather than God. These repented and turned to God instead of Religion. And there were others, like this woman, who woke up and realized she was worshipping Religion and was relieved from many burdens when she left. She was raised to worship Religion and not God. Unlike the first example, she did not know God. She only new Religion. Too often, churches only teach about Religion and not God. They are left to find God on their own and many never do especially when they don't know they are supposed to seek God. It is sad to see people leaving the church but I pray in some sense it is a step in the right direction from some. Because for many, turning away from Religion is the first step to turning to God. To seek God. Church can be a very confusing place for a sinner as churches mostly preach about Religion and their focus is not on God and Truth. Seeking God is the only right and sensible thing to do. God has a saying, "Whatsoever ye shall seek, that ye shall find." [paraphrased] "You get what you ask for." "Where you knock, the that door shall open to you."
