DOSBox ECE is the only DOSBox fork that I'm using on my old laptop, bc it has the best performance, support for Windows XP, and of course - 3dfx emulation. I was very sad to find out that you stopped developing it. I hope that you will still be a part of the DOSBox community.

wow, i remember being astounded by the quality of this game when i was a kid. lol it's shocking to see who well it's erm... not held up over time. still great memories, and i'm thankful for those experiences!

Currently restoring a sit down arcade version. should be almost like new when done. even got the metal sandblasted to be new like.

Fascinating that the engine used for this game (VR-6) is the same one from the FPS game The Hidden Below, released about two years earlier. Shame the developer company flopped in 2003 and we don't have a source code for their games until today!

I had this issue with vanilla DOSBox running SW and DN3D, the fix I used was to limit the cycles to 300000 (cycles max limit 300000). It fixed the flickering in higher res VESA modes.

I just started playing games on PC and honestly this is the biggest problem with PC gaming for my personally. It’s the single thing keeping me from loving it. Seems like every other game has some kind of controller issue. Console gaming obviously has the edge here but I can’t understand how in 2020 we can’t simplify this. Like why the fuck can’t I just plug and play my games? Obviously nobody wants to play a platformer on the fucking keyboard. I’m playing Sonic not learning how to play piano.
