Live in Evanston, WY- planted 2 weeping cherries in a protected area this July. What do you suggest I do to ensure their protection from our harsh winter? Our house is at 7000 ft elevation with wicked winds. We are expecting snow tomorrow.
@glovernursery8 ай бұрын
Wrap the trunks with white tree wrap to prevent sunscald. If the snow did not stick, or when if it melts before the next storm, put down 2-4" of mulch to help insulate the roots.

Nice ideas. Does anyone know what the bag is made of or type of material or fabrics name? Would be nice to know to make our own and make more of them. Also where to buy the bag or materials. Thanks for sharing
@pershop49504 жыл бұрын
I think the material is nylon. However, you can use higher quality landscape fabric for a similar result.

Ryan, I have 3 raspberry shortcakes, 2 baby cakes blackberries and 1 jelly bean blueberry... I do have a couple of different blueberry plants.. They are brazel berries... I have tried for a few months to purchase the blue berry Perpetua..hope I spelled that right... Do you have any of the Perpetua blue berry plants left for this year? I would also like it if you could tell me how to transplant them.. They are still in the containers they came with... I have large contains for them, but they all have many berries and I'm afraid of losing them.. Thank you for your time.... Rae
@glovernursery6 жыл бұрын
Hi Rae, I'm checking our inventory to see if we have the Perpetua blue berry in stock. We'll get back to you shortly!
@glovernursery6 жыл бұрын
Hi Rae, We do not carry Perpetua Blueberries. Blueberries really need acidic soil. I would recommend that when planting blueberries, plant them in a big pot or container to keep the acidic soil in but let the water drain out at the bottom. Use Acid Planting Mix and Acid Fertilizer. Kind regards, Krista.
