Nice test, but temperature at the end is 95C (203F) ❤ ❤ . Too hot for that inrunner 2w27 . 😢 Thx.

I ordered one yesterday… 🤣 I’ll test it someday on my FMS 3060 EDF

Quite this one! But lot of current 😁😬

In other words, a lot of current for that thrust…

Not as Strong as the rockets or TPs…. :/

Thanks too! This setup doesn´t seem to deliver that awesome power of the other but maybe just more efficient with that low currents :)
@ficosk88 ай бұрын
Cool alternative, at the end becoming hot I suppose the motor begins to pull much more current! It would be a cheaper way to improve the FMS fan :D It seems that the over voltage doesn´t seem to harm to motor at least on the short time?
@ficosk87 ай бұрын
Would recommend this motor on the 70mm EDF ? Would it not be maybe better the 2800KV rocket? It’s rated for 1V more but 10A less…
@ficosk88 ай бұрын
Motor gets warm but thats no miracle with that current xD. It cools down very quickly on low load :D Would you try it in flight? Flying 75% with a few fast passes may be OK , maybe. ESC does a great job too! :D

Awesome! I´m impressed how that motor holds that power and current. In the datasheet it´s rated for max 1600W I think!?
@ficosk88 ай бұрын
Wow now I see the full current with that motor, awesome power. The batteries manage very good also :)
@ficosk88 ай бұрын
Wow nice! The scale was at 3878 and current still on 100,19A but then a jump to 150A (max for the Powermeter I suppose, since I have the same I think) voltage sagging as well as thrust. Cool but it needs a lot of current. WIth lower timing wouldn´t it be maybe more efficient or does the motor because of the 4 poles need it? I almost know nothing about motors :S

Thanks for sharing! The stock FMS V2 pro (Aluminium Spinner) pulls around 1,81kg installed in my Avanti V1 on a 3300mAh 60C battery. Maybe this is just the second version

So, what edf better FMS or Xfly?
@guerrillaradio9953 Жыл бұрын
It depends on which size, and whether you are going for maximum power possible, or a fan that is good performance at a low price. The Xfly are probably the best for the money right now, but especially if you are going for an 80mm fan, FMS uses alloy housings, which act as a heatsink, and allow you to push the motor with higher voltage. If you are trying for maximum power, I've found the best is to buy a good alloy housing the size you need, and then several rotors of the same size. You will find many times one company's rotor works better with another company's housing. Experimentation is essential.

If you attach a long pipe with a sealed other end to the fan outlet. What is the maximum pressure this fan can create in the pipe (tank)?
